Sage didn't talk very much, he just...worked alongside her. They knew each other well enough to work silently. It wasn't an awkward silence, but there also just wasn't much to talk about. They were worried, but talking wouldn't do much good. So, they worked comfortably beside each other until the meal was made. Sage grabbed a few containers so they could bring it upstairs, something they never really did. But he supposed it would be good for them right now.

Mari grabbed the containers once they'd made it all up, and wandered upstairs mindlessly to put them down next to the children. She just stood there for a while, her mind blank befor eventually turning back to her own room, going to get showered and into something comfortable before just sitting down. What was she meant to do now? How could she fix anything? Their kids were scared, and rightfully so too. So was she. She didn't even know what Sage was thinking, agreeing to see what he could find out. If anyone figured it out they'd be in danger - more than they already were.
