"Just... don't treat either of us differently. Okay? It's fine..." She muttered, looking at him desperately. She took another breath and laughed bitterly. "I'm only telling you this because we know about your dad..." She took another breath, letting it out. Ginger sauntered over to her, curling into her lap. "Adrien and Maman were... out. Getting groceries at the time, I think... and, well, a car hit them almost fully head-on. I don't know the complete details. We were 7..." She choked out a bitter life. "Maman... died... on impact... and Adrien... he broke his spine." Aaron mumbled. It felt good to tell someone. But she felt it was so... unfair. Nicholas must have gone through so much more then her... it wasn't fair... "Dad practically abandoned Adrien... I had to visit him and beg him to take physical therapy..." She closed her eyes. "It took years to get him to the point he could run again... and don't even get me started on cars... he would freak if he even heard the vague sound of one. I managed to get him to be okay being near them. But he still hasn't gotten in one since..." She rambled, scratching Ginger's head as she kept her eyes down, trying to avoid the tears welling in her eyes.

Give Award	Nick Browns - Nick listened to Aaron's story intently, his eyes flicking between her and the floor. That was truely... awful. Yes, Nick had gone through some absolutely terrible things, but to loose someone you loved, and get severely close to death or being paralyzed was a lot. Of course he wasn't going to treat either of them differently, he knew how that felt, so he definitely wouldn't be treating Aaron and Adrien any different. But this didn't stop him from having sympathy and empathy for them. "...wow... that's awful... I can't even imagine..." Nick said softly looking down at the floor. Yes, Nick technically killed his mother during childbirth, but he still never met her. The only time he actually had to deal with lose was, was when his childhood dog, Moose, drowned in the river behind their old house. Nick could imagine loosing a parent who he actually met, and loved.

She muttered, sighing quietly. "Wow I need to learn not to vent." She said, laughing bitterly and leaning back, allowing Ginger to paw at her face lightly. Aaron closed her eyes tiredly. "Adrien doesn't mean to be cold.... its just... sort of how he is now." She mumbled, laughing bitterly again. She opened her eyes and looked around. Aaron surveyed the place silently. She really wished she hadn't said anything. That wasn't fair on Nick...

He would be too if his dad didn't make him wear this fake popular boy mask. Nick didn't want anything of what his dad expected of him. He hated football, he hated his football 'friends', he hated all the attention, he hated the way he had to act, and he didn't even actually like his girlfriend. Nick stayed quiet, unsure of what to say now, but he knew Aaron knew him well enough that she wouldn't judge him for it. The night was growing late, and Nick was getting tired. He wished to sleep, but there was no way he would be kicking Aaron out.

She brought back the cats' things and tentatively hugged Nick. "Be safe." She muttered, kissing his head. She let him go and walked out to her car again, giving him one last wave before getting in her car and backing up. She would have to make a group chat with all of them soon. She should name it 'Daddy issues' at this point.

Give Award	Nick Browns - Nick accepted the bag of things for the cats, and hugged her goodbye as well. "Don't worry, I will." He said reassuringly. He also welcomed the small kiss knowing it didn't mean anything. He wasn't attracted to Aaron, and she wasn't attracted to him. They were just friends, so the little head kiss meant nothing. As she left, Nick waved goodbye, and shut the door and locking it after Aaron's car had disappeared out of sight. Nick went over to the tiny kitchen and made both of the cats' dinner. He had no clue if Adrien had fed them or not, but it was better to overfeeding them than let them starve. And judging by the look Ginger was giving him, they hadn't eaten yet. After setting down the bowls of food, Ginger came trotting over eagerly, and started eating his dinner. Trixie, then slowly crept out of her hiding spot under the couch and over to her food where she started to eat next to her brother. Nick smiled at the pair as he walked away from them and over to his bag. There he pulled out his shower things, toothbrush and fresh underwear. Nick took those things over to the bathroom and proceeded to undress himself. After a moment of digging through the bathroom cabinets, he found a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Nick then proceeded to slowly and carefully unwrap the bandages on his back. He winced and sucked in breaths through his teeth as the bandage peeled away from his wounds, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the pain coming. Nick then picked up the bottle of rubbing alchohol and stood in the shower. He poured about a quarter of the bottle over his shoulders and holy hell, did it hurt. Putting his arms on the shower wall to steady himself, and gritting his teeth as to not scream out in pain. Eventually the stinging numbed and Nick was able to get on with his shower. Nick knew this wasn't the best way to clean his wounds, but it was the only efficient way he could think of doing it without someone else's help. Nick finished up his shower, brushed his teeth and pulled on a pair of clean boxers. He wrapped up his wounds again with fresh bandages and went back over to his bedroom. Looking at Adriens sweatshirt, he found it quite chilly not wearing much, so he picked up Adriens hoodie and pulled it on. He then pulled one last thing out of his bag before crawling into bed. His little yellow security blanket. Yes, he was a 18 year old boy. Yes, he still had his childhood blankie. Yes, he still slept better with it. Nick curled up in bed, laying back slowly, not damaging any of his scars, and wrapped his blanket around his neck loosely, just where he liked it. Just as he shut the light off a orange thing flew up and landed on his bed. Nick panicked for a moment, but quickly remembered it was just Ginger. "Hello there..." he welcomed the cat as the fluffy orange he-cat curled up at his side. Nick watched and smiled at it, before growing drowsy. The last thing he remembers before fading into sleep was the black and white cat jumping up to the bed as well. But Nick didn't get to see that the she-cat had curled up on his chest as he dozed off into sleep.

He couldn't sleep. He hated not having Ginger curled by his legs, and Trixie snuggled in his arms. Adrien turned again, grumbling in frustration and dragging a pillow closer. He curled up again, closing his eyes. Eventually, after not being able to sleep, he decided to go check on the cats. And Nicholas. But he wasn't about to admit that. Adrien slid out of bed, wincing as the floor creaked under his weight. Adrien grabbed a green hoodie, sliding it on along with some shorts. Adrien slipped out of the room, stepping down the stairs quietly. After getting down the stairs, he grabbed Aaron's keys, which had pepper spray and a small knife on them. Adrien opened the door and closed it with a quiet click. Breathing in the chill, warm air. Adrien breathed it out and began walking down the street toward the Airbnb. Adrien got to the house, looking at it. He shuddered slightly as a chill ran through him. He hurried to the door and used the spare key that was given, unlocking the door quietly and sliding inside. Adrien locked the door behind him and breathed out once more. Adrien made sure the door was locked and deadbolt before walking further into the house. Noticing Nicholas asleep in the bed, with Ginger and Trixie curled up with him, Adrien relaxed. They were safe.... Adrien made his way over to the couch, leaning back on it. Trixie eventually joined him, and he curled up with the small tuxedo. He was asleep in seconds. (Also, if you time skip, Aaron sent Nicholas a frantic message of "DO YOU KNOW WHERE ADRIEN IS?!?!??!?!" :D)

Give Award	Nick Browns - Nick woke the next morning with the sun glinting through the window across from his bed, and needing to pee. He got up out of bed, not bothering to change or put anything on, as he assumed he was alone. Leaving the fluffy orange cat in bed, where it had been all night, he walked over quickly to the bathroom. After doing his business and washing his hands and exited the bathroom, but was surprised to see a dark hair boy, curled up on his couch. Nick panicked for a moment, but he then realized it was just Adrien. Adrien? Why was Adrien here? "Adrien?" Nick questioned, loud enough to wake him, but it wasn't enough. He walked over to the boy and poked his shoulder, trying to wake him. "Adrien?" Nick questioned again. It still hadn't occurred to him that he was just in boxers and a sweatshirt, and Nick probably wouldn't realize until it was too late.

His eyes landed on Nicholas and trailed up and down the boys body before snapping to his eyes. ".... hi." He said awkwardly, twisting and sitting crisscrossed. Trixie stretched out, her claw slightly scratching at his pants. Adrien looked down and unhooked her claw from his shorts and looked back up at Nicholas.

Give Award	Nick Browns - Nick backed away from the boy as he woke and watched him as Adrien examined his body. Remembering he wasn't wearing actual pants, his cheeks colored a flaming scarlet. Yup, too late. Although, for some strange reason, Nick also kind of wanted to know what Adrien thought of his body. He knew this was an odd and disturbing thought, but he didnt really like his body, and maybe with someone's approval of it, he'd feel better about it. He shoved his hands into the front pocket of his, Adriens, sweatshirt and covered himself up. "What are you doing here? Not that your not welcome, but just in general, why?" He corrected himself quickly.
