all good) - Ella shrugged, twizzling food around on her plate. "I dunno, I don't think it's anything too special. It's just something I was told i'd have to do now and again, though i'm glad it's not too ofte" She smiled, looking around at the room of people. She was grateful the questioning and everything was over, and she was finally left alone by the other high prestige people. "Are you interested in actualy eating..any of that?" she asked, gesturing towards the plate of food.

Sage chuckled slightly at her annoyance of having to be here. "Well, at least it's not often," he mused. He shrugged when she asked if he was going to eat the food and grunted. "Sure," he said with a shrug. Was it necessarily good? No. But it was better than trash off the streets, and it was rare he got a meal this big, so he'd eat what he could get. Even if it definitely wasn't his favorite food.

After another half hour or so of the same uninteresting talk, Ella was prompted to say goodbye rather formally to everyone, and as she stood up and watched everyone go, turned to Sage. "we can get the clothes now if you would like" she smiled, her mood lifting automatically at the fact the meal had ended.

Sage had sort of just sat there for a while, eventually gaining enough courage to look about the room, though he was definitely still careful not to make eye contact with anyone. At least, besides Ella. She was nice enough and wouldn't get mad if he looked at her. He'd comment broke him out of his thoughts after some unsaid amount of time, and he grunted in agreement. "That sounds fine to me," he mused lightly. He was rather excited...he was looking forward to clothes that weren't so revealing and...well, uncomfortable. His were skin tight and it sucked. Soon enough though, they were on their way out.

Ella walked down the opposite corridor or away from the room, toward the place with, well..everything. The palace definitely had advantages when it came to buying things, it seemed to house everything possible. She stopped by the end of the hall at two large doors and turned to Sage. "i'm pretty sure you know where to get clothes. I can wait here if you like?" she asked with a smile, gesturing towards the closed doors.

Sage was more than happy to wander away from the crow and noise with Ella. He followed her down to the shop and nodded when she said she figured he'd know what to do and where to go. Though, he shrugged at her question. "You can do what you want," he mused. "Come with or stay here. Doesn't matter." He really didn't mind either way....everyone was at this party or banquet or whatever the heck they were just at was called, so he could get in and out quickly without talking to tooany people or risking too much. Which was certainly a good thing.

"I think i'll stay here" Ella smiled, looking toward the door slowly. She had no problem with walking round or being near Sage, but her conversational skills were slowly fading away for the day, and she was already tired. It wasn't even the evening yet. She gave a polite smile towards his direction, holding the door open for Sage.

Sage nodded and grunted. "I'll be back in a minute," he hummed before wandering into the store. He sort of looked around until he found some basic tshirts and pants that were comfortable, as well as a few hoodies and a pair of sneakers. Then as an afterthought he grabbed a few pairs of socks too. Soon enough he was out and rejoined Ella by the doors. "Ready to go," he asked quietly.

Ella nodded though again she didn't say a word, instead started off back down the hill to head towards the chambers. The more time she soent with Sage the more comfortable she felt, though it was hard for her not to be weirdly tense and non relaxed at times. Like right now. Whether it was just the tiredness or the atmosphere she felt tensed up around him, and she kept her head down as they made their way down the hall to the room. "So did you get everything you needed?" she asked politely, her tone quiet as she spoke.

Sage nodded silently when she nodded and started off, and was more than happy to wander alongside her on the way back to the castle. He nodded in response to her question once she spoke up, a slight hum saying yes. Really, he was too tired now that his nerves had leveled out he supposed....talking just was not fun he supposed. He was ready for bed. Soon enough, they were back in the castle and he moved to change into the clothes, which were certainly much more comfortable. The neck was low enough to show the golden necklace he had to wear off too, so no one could get too mad.
