Kai smiled. "Hopefully," he mused. "We'll see them tonight,"

Camery looked back up at him after a moment, her head slightly cocked. "We will?" She asked excitedly. She missed her family... her home. She loved it here, with Kai, of course she did, but this visit hadn't exactly been planned. She wished it had been. She sighed slightly at that thought. She wished she hadn't pushed him away like that... but things were better now, and hopefully, they'd stay that way. She wanted him to see her family the way she saw them, not as some sort of opponent.

"Yeah, don't you remember, we planned to go visit for a week or two,"

Camery shook her head with an amused laugh. "I didn't realise we were going so soon," she chuckled. She looked back at the ring with a grin. That stupid, big grin she always seemed to have. It had been his grandmothers... she hoped that maybe, one day, her own grand kids could wear it. She looked up at him, her face lit up. "They'll love you," she mused happily. He was so strong, brave, kind and smart... her parents would love him. If they didn't they'd learn to.

"I hope so," he chuckled sheepishly. Kai really wanted her parents to like him, but he didn't know how they'd react as he was the king of the night kingdom.

Camery smiled at his response and went to peck his lips lightly, her fingers dancing around the tattoos on his arms. "They have to, you're a king and I'm not giving them a choice in the matter," she chuckled lightly. She turned to the waterfall, her hands still dancing along his arms. "It's gorgeous here, Kai," she whispered with a grin.

Kai smiled. "Beautiful, just like you,"

Camery rolled her eyes at him, clearly amused by it his comment. She didn't always believe him, but she couldn't help but love it when he said that sort of thing. She leaned back against him after a moment and gave a bit of a chuckle. "Only someone as perfect as you could find a place like this," she mused softly.
| |

"I'd only bring a very special person here,"

Camery turned back to him, and sort of wrapped her arms half around his wings and half around his back. She gently traced the lines on his wings, where the skin folded and the intricate leathery patterns showed up. They were gorgeous. He was gorgeous. Everything was gorgeous. "Id only let a super special future husband fly my around like that," she mused lightly. She leaned up to peck his lips softly after a moment, and flashed him a smile. "You're so handsome and smart and god I just love you more than anything," she giggled happily.
