Kai nodded, standing up. "Should I hide my wings and markings? Or keep them out?" He asked.

Camery cocked her head thoughtfully before shrugging. "Well, that's up to you," she murmured softly. "You want them to see you as the king of the night kingdom?" She asked him, offering him her hand to hold

"Well, yeah, but i don't want them to see me as an opponent,"

Camery rolled her eyes. "Well, you'll be an opponent either way," she murmured softly. She squeezed his hand after a moment and furrowed her brows. "I love you, you know that, but these are my parents... without your wings, you're my bodyguard, one one that was trying to hurt us. With them, you're still king or the night kingdom. Just do what makes you comfortable, yeah?" She offered softly.

Kai bit his lip and nodded. He really hated this. He just wished everything would be okay and normal. "I'll keep them," he said, squeezing her hand.

Camery smiled softly and gave a nod. He had to show himself off in the best way he could... and she hoped this was the way. She sighed after a moment and leaned into him slightly. "It'll be fine either way, yeah?" She promised him with a soft hum. She hoped it would all be fine, anyway. She pulled him in after a moment and gave him a light nod hun as her fingers ran up his spine. "And, if it goes well, I'll give you a treat for behaving later on," she chuckled playfully before pulling away.

Kai grinned, "I'll be good," he promised her.

Camery smiled lightly to him, clearly rather amused. She gently tugged him towards the door after a moment with a small smile. "Come on," she mused. She wanted to see her mother first. She'd probably be more understanding... and if anything, she'd tell her father before they even got the chance to. It would probably be better that way.

Kai nodded, taking her hand and holding it tight, following her.

Camery wandered along the halls, until they knocked on a door that had her mother sitting in it. It was her office. She smiled light as she got an answer, though, and wandered in. The woman looked... shocked to say the least. "Camery -" she started, but then Cam quickly interrupted in a reassuring tone. "Mom, it's okay," she whispered softly, squeezing the man's hand gently. She loved him, and she trusted him. He was going to be fine, and her parents would learn to love him too. "This is Malakai... the king of the Night Kingdom-" "Camery how could you bring him here?" The woman inurrupted rather aggressively, standing up and out of her seat. "And my Fiancé," she finished quiely, sort of leaning on Kai just a little. She was very nervous as of then. Though, her mothers eyes softened, but there was still something in there that she couldn't understand. "And I'll be going to stay with him," she whispered quietly.
