Quinn was glad of that- easy hunting, easy living. Mostly. She tried to relax while sitting on Sahara, but... it was almost impossible. She wanted to walk. After a couple hours, however, the sun was getting low. "We should stop now. I think I hear a source of water off to the left." Quinn told Sage, veering off to the left a little. A small stream was bubbling in a very small clearing. She dismounted the sooty red mare carefully, rolling her eyes at a comment from the horse. |

Sage was content to lope along next to the horses, definitely glad to finally be feeling like himself and his shoulder didn't hurt when he moved around. He was also sort of glad to be out of that cave....it was a good place, but it was crowded in there, and he hadn't had a chance to move. The wolf part of him loved to just lope along fo rmiles and miles, like they had today. He nodded in agreement when she mentioned stopping though, and dropped the meat by the river before unpacking the horses and then moving to make sure she was settled. |

Quinn winced as she landed on the ground, jarring her shoulder. It would heal someday... hopefully sooner rather than later. She patted Sahara's neck before disappearing into the woods for a moment, getting some kindling for a fire. After arranging the sticks and small branches she took out her flint and her dagger, striking them together and providing sparks. The fire thankfully caught quickly. After it was burning Quinn got some water in the steel pot and warmed it over the fire. |

Once he'd gotten everything off the horses and such, he dragged the rabbits he'd caught earlier over to the fire and crouched next to Quinn, dropping the animals next to her and then laying down. He was sort of tired, he supposed, but in a good way....he'd been able to push himself since they'd gone quite a while today and he'd loped along for most of it. He could go longer, of course, but they'd still gone a ways down the path, so it did feel nice to lay there now that they'd stopped. |

(I'm so sorry I've been so lax with this rp. It's totally slipped from my mind, as I keep every rp under bookmarks, and I accidentally clicked *clear all bookmarks* while ago. I thought I had responded, forget to re-bookmark this rp, and here we are. If you still want to continue, I have some ideas for drama to help it Jumpstart again. We can skip ahead 8 or so months, to when they're finally *settled* and Quinn is having her baby. Sorry again. Thank you for your patience.) |

(Yes, I would like to! Also, I will try VERY hard to respond as much as possible. Even though there's been a break, this rp does still interest me. I've only re-read it, like, 782 times lol) - 8 months and 13 days later, pain was racking Quinn's body. They had found a small valley 2 months ago, and in it, an abandoned cabin. It seemed too lucky, but after a week of surveillance, there was nothing. They had then gone in and fixed the place up, and had spent 1 month in it. Quinn had slowly been getting slower lately, especially since her stomach felt like it had an elephant in it, but now it was much worse than ever. Laying on the small bed, though somewhere in the back of her mind still appreciating having a real bed, she gritted her teeth. It felt like she was trying to explode from the inside out Almost 2 hours later, she was exhausted, only in a little pain, and had a tiny, frail, beautiful baby in her tanned arms. Her green eyes pretty much just stared with wonder. What a miracle. |

(lol, I reread mine too haha.) Sage had been wary of settling down in the cabin, but after quite a while of watching it and the valley around it, it was clear the place was abandoned. There was no signs of humans for miles around....and no signs of any dangerous animals or anything either. Clean water was near, and they had plumbing in the cabin once he fixed it up. Quinn seemed about ready to pop though, so he knew they had to settle down, and this was their best option. Once everything had ended, and the baby was in Quinn's, arms, he moved around to peer at it curiously, but clearly just as in wonder as Quinn. (It might be neat if they had twins, since the werewolf part of his genes would make multiple possibly? Idk just a thought) |

(Twins! Yes!) - A little while later, and some shock and more pain, Quinn was flabbergasted and amazed as she held two babies in her arms. Two. 2. Dos. More than 1. Her emerald eyes flitted to Sage, then back to the babies. A beautiful baby boy and a beautiful baby girl. Quinn almost never cried, but her eyes were glassy with happy tears, pain, and exhaustion. The third one was really setting in, as she felt she had just circumnavigated the earth- just running. "They're amazing..." she whispered quietly, relieved that everything went well, even after all the jostling and walking and riding and fighting and everything. Both babies had their parents raven black hair, yet the girl had amber eyes, and the boy had green eyes. |

Sage hadn't expected another baby, however it did make sense, he supposed. But he was still rather amazed with it all. Twins. It was definitely exiting. He simply nodded in response to Quinn's comment, still staring at the babies, amazed with the two squirming bundles in his wife's arms. "They're beautiful," he hummed softly, moving to crawl up onto the bed with them, curling around Quinn since that was the only way he could really hold all three of them. "You did good, babe," he added with a sort of chuckle. "I'm not aure I could have handled that," he admitted lightly, rather amused at the thought. |
