Quinn's mind flitted back, back to when she had been in that carriage going towards a castle she was sure would doom her. The first time she saw Sage, how she thought he was just another normal prince. The start of their "friendship". When they left. Every memory that built up to this moment. Something she would never forget as her emerald eyes flitted to the two young life's in her arms. Their wondering eyes stared back at her, and for the moment, everything seemed perfect. Like nothing could tear them down. She sank into his embrace slightly, letting herself be vulnerable for the moment, just appreciating the warmth from the three of them. "Nooo, you couldn't have. Sorry, but this was a special thing for me." Her smile matched her teasing tone. Quinn glanced up at him again, purely glowing. "Now we need to think up names." She chuckled lightly.

Sage wrappedn his arms around Quinn happily when he relaxed into his arms, chuckling lightly in response to her comment. "Don't apologize, it didn't seem like I was missing out on much," he noted with amusement, really just joking around a bit. He grinned over at her when she mentioned names, nodding happily. They hadn't relaly discussed names a whole lot, as they hadn't known if the baby would be a girl or boy. Now, they knew they had two...so they had double the work ahead of them. He was rather excited about it though, and was quite glad to finally meet his children. It had certainly been a long nine months. "Do you have any ideas," he asked, cocking his head as he peered back at the little ones.

"Missing out? Yeaaahhh, I'd LOVE to see you try and do this." Quinn teased lightly. "You're right, though. You weren't missing out on much." She winced, bringing her emerald gaze back to the small bundles of joy that had miraculously NOT started crying yet. Her brain was already running on high as she tried to think up names. "For the girl... Lyka. Or Frynn. Or Sierra. Or Amythest. Or Lily. Or Serena. Or Rose. Or Niagra. Or Astrid. Or Heather. Or Willow. Or literally any girl name on the entire earth- there are so many options!" She joked loosely, her emerald eyes flitting to the boy. "For him... Caspian. Or Lupin. Or Remus. Or Oak. A little tree-y though. Or Ralph." Quinn snorted lightly at the last one, glancing up at Sage with a smirk. "Orrr Ragnorak the Third." She giggled, letting her head flop back. "I'm exhausted. My brain obviously is malfunctioning. You need to take over naming." She sounded lightly amused, but it was true- she was tired, and obviously Ragnorak the Third wouldn't work as a good name.

Sage sort of just chuckled in response to her comments, givign the girl a grin. "I think I'll pass on that one," he noted, voice laced with amusement. He let her babble names a little bit, just finding it all rather adorable. Though, he winced when she mentioned the last couple names. "Wow, you're doing him a little dirty don't you think," he teased her lightly, pecking the side of her head before humming in thought, watching the kids for a moment. "I like Frynn and Caspian," he eventually settled on. "They match best I think,: he added. They were solid names too....and both kiddos were already warriors in their own way.

Quinn smiled with amusement, curling up slightly, a small laugh emitting at his comment. "Hey, I think Ralph is a GREAT name!" She protested jokingly, her green eyes twinkling. She gazed at the babies before looking back up at Sage, her mouth curling into a small smile. "I put more thought into those two." She chuckled lightly, her smile growing slightly as she looked at the small infants in her arms. Both wrapped in blankets, and obviously getting hungry. "I love you. And them. And I'm VERY glad we finally settled down some where." She commented quietly, her eyes drifting shut.

Sage sort of snickered in response to her comment, chuckling lightly when she admitted she put more thought into the more previous names. "Really? I though you were serious about Ragnorak the third," he teased her lightly, peckign her lips gently when he noticed ehr getting more tired as time went on. "Sleep for a little while...I'll take care of these two," he hummed, moving to scoop the babies up and nestle them against his chest, admittedly happy to hold them anyway. "I love you too," he chirped. "All of you," he murmured as she drifted off.

Quinn narrowed her eyes jokingly at him. "Noooo I was totally serious about that. Sorry Caspian, you are now Ragnorak the Third." She rolled her eyes sarcastically, a smile flickering onto her face. "Thanks.." she said quietly at his next words, settling down and drifting off almost immediately.

An hour later she felt revived enough to come back to life. Her eyelids fluttered as light streamed in, then she opened her eyes with a wince. Way too bright. The events of the past couple hours came rushing back to her, and she sat up with a jolt, her eyes flying around. Were the babies okay? Was Sage good? Were they hungry? Did she need to feed him? No- wait- them- two- both- twins. She had twins. Caspian and Frynn! Relaxing slightly as she remembered, Quinn slowly started to fully wake up.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comments, glad that she was alright enoguh to joke around. Things could have gone relaly badly, and they wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. But everything was fine...Quinn was alright and so were the bbabies. And they had two! It really was nice.

When he heard Quinn sit up, he glanced over at her with a smile. "Afternoon, sleepyhead," he teased her lightly. "how was your rest," he asked. She looked better...which was good, because both kids were whining by then. "I think they're hungry," he admitted with a sort of sheepiush shrug. "I'm not much help in that department," he added withh a sort of laugh, handing one over to quinn so she could feed them one at a time. Frynn seemed more impatient, so he handed her over first.

Quinn groaned lightly at his teasing words, rubbing her face for a second before completely waking up. "You'd be sleepy too if you carried around those two bags of weight for 9 months!" She huffed back, her joking tone indicating she wasn't irritated. "Good enough for now." Quinn answered, laughing at his next words. "You think?" She asked with a snort, grinning lightly. "No, you're not much help there." She answered, reaching out her arms to take the child, her mouth twitching into a smile as she started feeding Frynn, who seemed more than happy to FINALLY get to eat. "Gosh, it's like she hasn't eaten in her whole life." Quinn giggled lightly.
