Andi watched the line slowly die down, she didn't get up until the line was completely gone. She stood up walking to the register where Trevor was, she couldn't help but notice the small smile on his face which in return made her smile. "Hi Trevor!" She beamed happily "I just want to get a vanilla macchiato" She said with the same tone. She never found herself speaking to happily to someone before until she met Trevor, maybe she just liked being around him especially after everything that's happened. But she doesn't exectally know

The smile stayed on Trevor's lips as Andi ordered and nodded, "Alright that will be (whatever price I don't know)," he says as he puts her order in and waits a moment for Andi to pay before saying, "I will have that ready for you in a minute." Most of the other workers were on break so Trevor just went over and made Andi's drink for her. After a few minutes he places her cup on the counter and asks with a smile, "So do you have a few minutes to hang out before you head back to work? I'm technically on my late lunch break right now."

Andi nodded and paid "Okay" She beamed again. She waited patiently for Trevor to make her drink, once he set it down she picked it up still having a smile that she couldn't get rid of on her face "Thank you sir" She softly said looking at him. She listened to him speak then looked at the time, technically she had to be back in 5 minutes but her next client wouldn't be there for another 30 and in all honestly she'd rather chat with Trevor all day. "Yes I do and I'll be happy to spend your lunch break with you" She smiled again

His smile grew some more as she accepted his invitation. "Alright give me a minute," he says, "me and the other employees ordered food today and it's in the back. Just sit somewhere and I'll be out in a minute." As he finishes this he turns away and head to the employee area. He takes off his apron and puts it away before searching through the bags of orders and finding his from a burger place in town. Trevor then walks out to the cafe and looks around before spotting Andi again and walking over.

"Okay theres no rush to get it" She said as he walked into the back. She turned around and sat at the table she was before which had a seat directly across from her. She took a sip of the coffee as she waited and it tasted even better than last time, even if it was the same drink she ordered and it was made the same way it just tasted even better. She took another sip as Trevor sat down in front of her, she smiled again "So how's work going for you so far?" She asked tilting her head slightly

He pulls the chair out nd sits down in it before scooting it forward. As he pulls his order out of the bag he answers, "It's been going. Had a massive lunch rush today and I think it was one of the biggest ones I have seen. It went through all of our lunch breaks and now we are here." He places a burger box and a container of fries onto the table. He puts a fry in his mouth before opening up the box with the burger in it.

"Oh man that sucks..." She paused for a moment to think, she had never worked a job like his before so she had no clue how he could do it "I don't know how you can deal with all these different people and keep your cool at the same time." She said looking around, honestly if she had one bad person she would probably blow up at them.

"Oh trust me it is hard some days," Trevor chuckles before he takes a bite out of his semi-warm burger, since it had cooled down from waiting. He then swallowed after a minute and says, "You just have to think of them as annoying kids or like bugs. Just ignore the bad part about them and focus on the important things they tell you. For example, if someone comes in and complains about the line they had to wait in ignore everything they say until they actually say their order. If they start to complain about the price then ignore that too and wait until they pay before sending the order back to get made."

Andi slowly sipped on her coffee as she listened to Trevor speak. What he said kind of made sense to her but it still baffled her how he could handle it. "I guess that makes sense but I still don't think I'd be able to deal with any of these people. Especially with how snotty they are these days, can't even walk down the street without getting an insult" She said that with a slight huff since she was annoyed at the thought. It was true for her at least people were just rude so walking down the street wasn't as enjoyable anymore

He frowned slightly as Andi mentioned the fact that she got insulted, but quickly made it go away. "Welcome to city life," he says as he takes another bite of his burger, "people are always so much ruder in the city than anywhere else." He soon finishes his burger and offers Andi some of his fries. He glances at a clock on the wall, which actually worked and was there for both decoration and to tell time, and sees that he has about 10 minutes left of his lunch break. He hears a few of his colleagues already back to work and taking orders of a customer here and there.
