Temperance nodded quietly, watching the violent waves against the shore for a moment before it made her sick. She strode back to the bed and sat down, watching her hands anxiously. What was she supposed to say? What was there to say? 'Sorry I said wierd stuff yesterday, oops, can we forget that happened?' That wasn't really an option.

(How do you nod loudly? My brain: :O) - Zephyr wrung his hands together for a second, continuing to stare out the window. Arghhhh. He couldn't deal with it any longer. "Do .. you remember anything from yesterday? Specifically anything I said?" He asked quietly, his voice a little anxious. "I just- anything that happened is in the past and doesn't matter, I was exhausted and you got hit on the head REALLY hard." He mumbled quietly, glancing away again.

Pfffft Never pondered that before)) Tempe watched him in silence from across the room, fiddling anxiously with her fingers. She blinked when his attention turned to her and flushed slightly at the question. She didn't answer immediately, clearing her throat and shuffling in her seat. She could lie and say she didn't remember. But really, what use was that? It wasn't worth it just to save a little face. "Uhm. Yeah. Most of it, I think, before I went to sleep. But it's- not important. I was delirious, you were exhausted, so who cares, right?" She chuckled nervously, twisting her fingers quietly.

Zephyr turned towards her, almost as if to prompt her to speak, then she did, and he cringed, slowly turning back around and placing his forehead on the chilly window while closing his eyes. "Yes. Who cares." He sounded- well, you couldn't really describe it. At this point, depressed. He was REALLY hoping she meant that and she wasn't going to walk up tomorrow like *HEEEYYY REMEMBER WHEN YOU SAID I WAS PRETTY HAHA SUCKER* because as he had thought before, he would never live that down. Hoowwever, he was stuck in a fix if she did, because he couldn't deny a single word he had said that night. It was all true. He had just gotten it off his chest. And Zephyr wasn't one to lie.

Tempe bit her lip anxiously at response, praying she had said the right thing. It wasn't like either of them could use what they said against each other- why would they, anyway? It seemed silly. Trivial. She took in a small breath and shook her head. "So, Zeph, what's the next step? Who gets their power sigil door dashed next?" She asked, using a falsely light tone and a bright smile.

Zephyr sucked in a breath before raising his head. "For one, I can easily tell that's a fake tone and a very fake smile, remember you're talking to the king of faking not-total-depression-because-everyone-hates-me." He rolled his eyes a little. "For two, we're right on Posideon's doorstep so let's try him. Maybe he won't kill both us so Zeus can kill me. For three, are you feeling alive enough to go talk to the god of oceans and earthquakes?" He asked with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Temperance's face fell at his comment and she frowned slightly, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. "I didn't do it to be convincing. I did it to make myself feel less like I'm a depressed sack of weeds. They say fake it till you make it, so let me fake my way through this one." She responded, not confrontational, just a little exasperated. She rubbed at her face quietly and slung her bag over her shoulder. "No. But I don't have a choice, so let's go visit our uncle under the sea." She huffed, moving to the door and walking out in silence.

+nice one, Zeph. You're a bigger idiot than she thinks you are. Which is hard to beat+ he thought grumpily. "Sorry." He mumbled before turning to the door. "Let's go not die." Zephyr walked out into the cold chilled wind, staring at the waves. "One question. I can't breathe underwater and I assume you can't either. Any ideas on how we get to him?" He snorted. +guys too darn lazy to float up here+ he thought Sourly, standing at the edge of the ocean and staring out over the vast landscape.

Temperance waved her hand dismissively at his apology. "It doesn't matter." She muttered, giving a sigh as the sea breeze whipped at her hair. "Good question. My answer? Do dumb shit and hope he thinks it's worth paying us a visit." She said, pulling the trident out of her bag. It expanded in her hand, heavier than expected and just as glorious as it seemed. She took a slow breath and lifted it, making her way step by step toward the churning sea in front of her. She paused hesitantly at the edge of the seafoam, then took another step in and let it wash over her sneakers. Then another, and another, until the water was halfway up to her calf and she could feel the ocean tugging at her feet. With a deep breath, she lifted it and hit it back to the ground, hard. The sting of the trident wasn't as bad as she expected, as someone unworthy to yield it. The sea seemed to rise in strength. She could tell there were nymphs nearby- probably all around. Creatures of the sea. She crouched and held the trident out in front of her, horizontally so it was kept under the water level, even if it drenched her to the bone. "I know you can hear me." She yelled, calmly, to the sea. "So bring me your master with haste if he wishes to retrieve his weapon. He has called, we have answered, and it is time he reunites with his companion." She ordered simply, watching the sea calm slowly at her side. Was it idiocy to speak with such impotence to the king of the sea while kneeling in his waters? Yes. But idiocy strong enough to bring him close.

Zephyr slowly lifted his eyebrows. "I love that idea. Why don't we just tell him he's fat and I hate his haircut at the same time?" He mumbled under his breath, sitting down in the sand and cradling his head in his hands for a moment as he thought of all the things he ever loved in life and what dying would be like. After Temperence was done trying to die, Zephyr heard a low rumble, and the water seemed like it drained, pulling back. He stood quickly and walked over beside her, tense and ready. Out of the broiling depths came a giant god that slowly became normal human size as he walked towards them. "Delightful demigods trying to make me ANGRY, how smart who have you two the brains? WAS NOT ME. Zeus and Hades are dumber than a sack of potatoes and they OBVIOUSLY passed it along." Posideon thundered, holding up his hand. The trident flew out of Temperence's hands and to him. "At least it's good to be back with my trident." He muttered, still looking like he was gonna murder them.
