Malakai Negri - Malakai rolled his eyes. "I did not," he replied, "There's only one woman I want to see me like that, and she's already right here," he smirked, holding her hips. Kai chuckled darkly, "Well, baby, who told you that you could put on that dressing gown?" he murmured to him, his voice husky as his hands slipped under her skirt. "I think you're wearing a little much too..." he smiled at her and pecked her on the lips. "Why don't we make a deal, princess? I'll take off my boxers if you take off your dressing gown," he suggested with a smirk.

Camery Valatieri - Camery flashed him a smile, her face breaking into a grin as his hands settled on her hips. "So, what were you doing standing there naked in the middle of my room?" she teased, laughter bubbling up in her voice. "She definitely knows now," she giggled, her tone light and playful. She wrapped her arms around her dressing gown, humming softly. "I’m a princess; I can do whatever I want," she giggled mischievously. As he moved to kiss her, she looked up at him, flashing a grin. After a moment, she raised an eyebrow, chin still tiltingtowards him. "Thats an interesting deal," she hummed, her hands still on his abs. "If you were to take my dressing gown off for me I might accept it," she chuckled softly. Edited at December 31, 2024 11:10 AM by Belle

Malakai Negri - Malakai grinned and slowly lifted her dressing gown over her head. He tossed it to the side when it was off of her, and he pulled off his boxers for her. "Happy, babe?" he murmured to her with a smirk. Kai picked her up, sitting down on the edge of her bed and setting her down on his lap, so she was straddling him. He smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her.

Camery Valatieri - Camery let a soft chuckle escape her, the sound light and warm as she settled comfortably into his lap. Leaning forward, she kissed him back with an easy happiness, her lips lingering before she pulled away, her brows knitting slightly as if caught in a moment of thought. Her hands rested lightly on his chest, fingers tracing idle patterns before drifting up to tangle gently in his hair. She gave him a small nod, her smile growing brighter. “Very happy,” she said with a light giggle, her voice teasing but sincere. Tilting her head slightly, she studied him for a moment, her expression playful but soft. “But I’m much happier when you’re smiling at me,” she added with a grin, her eyes sparkling with affection.

Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled and chuckled. "Lucky you, you're the only one I smile for," he murmured to her with a peck on the lips. Kai smiled at her, going into thought for a moment. "Babe? Would you marry me if I was a prince?" he asked, trying to be playful, although, he was actually curious. He knew she didn't know he was actually a prince, and he couldn't tell her, but he wanted to know if she would even consider marrying him if he could somehow make his father truce with the Day Kingdom. Camery Valatieri - Camery let out a soft laugh, her fingers running through his hair with a teasing touch before pressing a light kiss to his forehead. It was all in good fun, and she couldn’t help but enjoy the moment. "Well, you didn’t exactly grace me with a smile yesterday, not after you stormed off," she said with a playful roll of her eyes, though she remained close, her presence unwavering. She paused, his question sinking in as she considered it. "Marry you?" she repeated softly, her voice carrying a hint of curiosity. "Well... I suppose I’d need to get to know you a bit better," she mused, her fingers trailing gently along his shoulder, the touch light and fleeting. "What makes you tick?" she added with a playful purr, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "But yes, I think I could say so. If we spent more time together, and you were a prince," she continued, her voice carrying a teasing note, "and, of course, if my parents approved," she finished with a soft hum, pressing her lips to his jaw in a quiet, affectionate gesture.

Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled and listened, his chances getting progressively better until she said 'if her parents approved'. There was no way her parents would approve of him, no matter what he did. "Too bad I'm not a prince," he lied, but the facade was thick. "What does marriage mean to you?" he asked curiously. "Is it just to strengthen the kingdom, or is it for love? True love?"

Camery Valatieri - The woman hummed in quiet agreement, but shifted closer, pressing her chest gently against his. She reached behind him, pulling a blanket around them both, the warmth enveloping them as it settled over her shoulders. "Well, right now, it doesn’t really matter whether you’re a prince or not," she murmured softly, her hand drifting to the base of his neck, tracing the line of his skin before her nails lightly grazed his back. "Not when it’s just the two of us here," she added with a soft chuckle, her voice low and easy. She had always been taught to marry for the sake of the kingdom—her entire life had revolved around the kingdom, its needs, its future. But perhaps, she thought, love could come with time. "It’s to strengthen the kingdom, mostly," she mused, her voice trailing off as she bit her cheek in thought. "You can learn to love someone, though," she continued, her words thoughtful and deliberate. "And besides, marriage doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be together," she added with a knowing smile, as if the complexities of it all were second nature to her. "My parents were like that for a little bit. Seeing other people while in wedlock," she shrugged. They both knew about it, so she supposed it wasn't cheating.

Malakai Negri - Malakai listened, biting his cheek so he wouldn't say anything he shouldn't. So, he had no chance of ever marrying her. Great. That stung. That really stung. His parents had always told him he had to marry and get his wife pregnant, but they never said who or what rank they had to have. They probably wouldn't even care if he married a guy, so long as they adopted a child. "Would you ever even consider marrying Duncan? The Night Kingdom Prince?" he asked. It kinda hurt to ask if she'd marry his brother, but she didn't know that, and she probably didn't even know there was more than one Night Kingdom Prince. Most didn't. Malakai was the eldest and the heir, but that meant responsibilities and pressure, so Kai didn't usually make an appearance to the public. Whereas his younger brother and sister, they didn't have any obligations, so they were the perfect picture for the public.

Camery Valatieri - She tilted her head, contemplating for a moment before shaking it with a soft laugh. "Kai, babe, why are you even asking?" she murmured, her voice gentle but playful. "It’s going to be a while before I’m marrying anyone, no matter who it is," she chuckled, a hint of amusement in her tone .But he had asked, and she supposed she might as well answer. Her thoughts immediately turned to the Night Kingdom, her opinion of them cold and distant. They were a threat to her family—and to her, sending spies to pry into their lives. She was always on edge around anyone new. She sighed, shaking her head. "Night kingdom? I'd marry him and kill him in his sleep," she scoffed, a little angery flashing though her eys. "They're trying to hurt us, Kai. Nothing could make me marry anyone from over there," she muttered, her nose slightly flaired. She exhaled a soft breath, a mix of frustration and amusement, before she gently shoved him back against the bed. Her hands pressed lightly on his chest as she hovered over him, her smile taking on a slightly playful edge. There was a teasing glint in her eyes as she leaned in just a fraction closer, the air between them charged with a quiet energy. "I can’t be too mad, I suppose..." she murmured with a hint of humor, her voice soft yet playful. "After all, they’re the only reason you’re here," she added with a thoughtful tone, her fingers lightly tracing the outline of his shoulder as her smile lingered, a mixture of fondness and mischief dancing in her gaze.
