Sage was more tham happy to stand outside with Quinn until she was ready to go back inside. When she turned to go back to the cabin, he looked over the valley around them once more before turning to follow her, holding the now sort of cranky Frynn, who was more than happy to suckle once they got back. He plopped down on the couch next to Quinn with a content sigh once both babies were asleep, chuckling slightly at her joke. "It is quite a feat," he mused lightly, closing his eyes and letting his head flop back against the top of the back of the coach tiredly. it had been a rather crazy day...and their sleep had been broken for a while, as Quinn was up and in and out of bed pretty often. No doubt the babies would keep them up now...but it was worth it. He was jsut so, so tired.

(So, we need a drama plot laid down. Obviously, we can't RP every day the kids grow up, but we also can't just skip time every time something gets dull. Any dramatic ideas in mind? Good or bad, though I'm falling to the side of bad hehe. Maybe something like another hunter finding them....)

Quinn closed her eyes for a moment, smiling faintly. She curled up slightly and let her head lean against his shoulder, letting out a quiet sigh. Rest. Exactly what she needed. The world slowly faded to black, her breathing becoming easier as she slipped into the shadows.

An hour later was all the sleep she got, as Caspian was starting to let out little hungry peeps, and Frynn had waken them up with an irritated sounding scream or two. At least it wasn't non-stop. Quinn mentally collected her tired thoughts before climbing up off the couch, and then the routine reset. Feed, clean, play, nap, repeat. She had a feeling it would go on like this for a while,

(hmmmm, that could work. What if we have something happen to where they get found, and the guy is really good at what he does sp the only way they can kill him is if Sage hits him while he gets hit? So he's badly wounded and almost dies protecting the family? Idk lol)

Sage smiled softly when he felt her rest against him, and he wrapped his arm around her happily. Good, he was tired...and no doubt she was tied too. They woke when Frynn started complaining a few hours later, but they took turns actually getting up so they managed to get at least a couple sleep cycles in before just waking for the day. Of course, it wasn't long before he fell askeep on the couch, Frynn sprawled on his chest, both of them passed out after Frynn was fed for what seemed to be the millionth time that night.

That's a good idea, but Quinn has to look like a hero too XDDD. What if she gets mildly wounded but Sage gets badly wounded, and he takes down the hunter? Then she'll have to bear the burden of a small wound, taking care of Sage, and both babies! Perfect. You should play the hunter, as you'll interact with him more, so you can decide how it goes))

"Aww, poor babies...I mean, poor us!" Quinn laughed tiredly at one of the times they were awake. "I'm so grateful we're in this together, though." She mumbled quietly, falling asleep again quickly.

A while later, as daylight broke, Quinn was awake making breakfast. She was exhausted, but seeing Sage conked out on the couch with Frynn on his chest...that lifted her spirits. It was adorable. And Cassius was finally sleeping peacefully. She sighed happily and left to gather some roots from the wild garden they had planted, with seeds from all the edible plants they could find around there.

Yea, Quinn needs to get hurt too lol. What if there's a girl from a town nearby or something that stumbles across the cabin or something and winds up being able to help out at times? It doesn't have to be with the hunter thing, but at some point it may be nicce for them to have a friend lol)

Sage had laughed softly, alibet tiredly, at her joke. "It does seem to help having two parents," he admitted with a yawn, passing out with her. He stayed that way for another couple hours, before the baby on his chest woke and he was forced to get up and check on Caspian too. Quinn was gone...so he assumed she'd just goen to grab some food and such. He could hunt later...the valley had plenty of game, so it was never hard to find food. The winter may be a different story, but for now, it was spring and that was far away, so they didn't have to worry right then.

OO is Sage the jealous type? 0-0 I see it now a girl or a guy could come from town, they could all become friends, but the girl could become better friends with Sage or the guy could become better friends with Quinn and for some stupid reason, even though EVERYTHING, we could have a dramatic jealousy plot! Yes!!)

As Quinn gathered the wild roots and herbs, she felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. They had worked hard to survive out here in the wilderness, far from the nearest village. She smiled, thinking about how Sage would tease her about her "wild garden" when they first started. Now, it was a vital part of their survival. She made her way back to their small cabin, eager to cook up a hearty stew over the fire. Maybe today would be a better day, with a full belly and some rest. She chuckled, knowing that with twins, things could change quickly, but for now, all was well. She began to prepare the meal, grinding the roots and hanging the rabbit they had caught yesterday over the fire to roast. The smell of smoke and cooking meat filled the air, and she felt grateful for this simple life, despite its challenges. She then entered the cabin to see Sage checking on Caspian and Frynn. "Breakfast is almost done." She said cheerfully, feeling more energetic now, even if she was tired.

(ooo yes absolutely! He would defybe jealous since Quinn is literally the only other person he likes other than the kids xD, so that could definitely work!)

Sage had glanced over at Quinn when she wandered back over towards the house, a sort of grin forming on his face at the sight of her. "Good, I'm starving," he mused....he was pretty much always hungry, and while Quinn was pregnant they'd nearly eaten themselves out of the valley. It was an amusing thought, he supposed, however they'd slowed down a bit now and things were all going back to normal. His nose twitched when he smelled everything cooking, and he wandered over to the kitchen, eyeing the food happily. "Smells good," he hummed lightly.

(So, do you want to play the male since he'll be interacting with Quinn more, or should I play the male so when he and Sage have a showdown it isn't you against you?)

Quinn snorted quietly. "You're always starving." She commented with a smile, disappearing outside again and getting the now roasted rabbit off of the fire. She left it outside, as they could eat outside, then go back in to feed the babies. "It should. Come and eat." She said as she popped her head in the door, then went back outside, fishing out one of her roots and taking a bite. Yes, there was stew, but she still had an inkling for the raw roots- they were like carrots. Kind of.

(uhh, why don't you? It makes the showdown better lol)

Sage gave the girl a sheepish grin in response to her comment about him always being starving. "True," he mused lightly, but grinned when she said food was ready, casting a glance over his shoulder at the still sleeping babies, heasitating and making sure they were totally safe in every kind of manner before moving to head outside and eat. Normally nothing made him pause on his way to the kitchen, but leaving their children alone in the cabin did admittedly make him stop for a second. He got over his nerves enough to go eat though, however as soon as he finished eating he moved to go peer into the cradles, almost expecting to find one missing or something. Of course, that hadn't happened...but he supposed he was just being protective.

Quinn chuckled lightly before chowing down on the food she had made like she hadn't eaten in years. Truthfully, she was quite hungry- she had been for about 9 months. Every day with the babies seemed to make her more ravenous, and now was finally her chance to quell that. Afterwards she darted in to check on the children, looking a little relieved as they were both still alive, then went to clean up.

A young man by the name of Jackson was wandering out in the middle of nowhere with his bow and arrows, hunting for game. He hadn't found any food for miles now, and was about 15 miles into the wilderness when he came upon a small lake. He noticed a path to the side, and, thinking it might be a deer path, he followed it eagerly.
