Sera closed her eyes briefly, savoring the gentle warmth of his kiss on her cheek. That one word—always—settled in her chest like a promise, soft and steady. She turned her head slightly, brushing her nose against his. “You really mean it,” she murmured, almost like she was marveling at the fact.

Her fingers found his again, lacing through them with care. “Then I’m not letting go,” she whispered. “Not now. Not ever.” She leaned into him, resting her head against his shoulder, letting the quiet between them be filled with trust and something stronger than words.

Sera smiles, "What should we pack for our picnic?" she asks, resting her head on his shoulder.

Sera looks up, placing her finger on her chin, pondering for a moment. "Fruit!" she responds after a few seconds, excitement shining in her eyes. "What about you? what would you like to pack for the picnic?" she asks, turning her head and focusing her attention back onto him

Sera’s heart swelled at his words, a quiet smile blooming across her face. “You did promise,” she whispered, brushing her fingers against his cheek. “And you’ve already kept so many promises… I’m really proud of you, Finn.”

She leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder, nodding along to his suggestion. “That sounds perfect,” she murmured. “Something warm and filling for dinner, and fruit to end it on a sweet note. Maybe… a pasta? Or something we can eat with our hands. Makes it feel more like a real picnic.”

She looked up at him, eyes soft. “Whatever we end up having, I’ll be happy. As long as I’m with you.”
