Sera giggled softly, nodding against his shoulder. “Sandwiches sound perfect,” she agreed, her voice warm with affection. “Simple, sweet, and easy to eat while watching the waves.”

She looked up at him, reaching up to gently brush a bit of hair from his forehead. “You really do think of everything, don’t you?” she teased lightly, her tone playful but filled with love. “Just me and you, sunshine and salt air. That’s all I need.”

Her thumb traced small circles on his hand, her eyes lingering on his with a tender intensity. “It’s more than enough.”

Sera smiles, remaining there for a few moments before reluctantly getting up. "We should go prepare this picnic then" she says. "I'll go search for a blanket" she announces, going to the storage.

Sera reached out and took his hand without hesitation, her fingers slipping perfectly between his. “Then let’s go,” she said softly, her thumb brushing over his knuckles as they stepped out the door together.

The air outside was warm, kissed with a gentle breeze that tousled her hair and carried the faint scent of the ocean. The sky was painted in hues of fading gold and rose, the sun beginning its slow descent toward the horizon.

Sera glanced over at Finn as they walked, watching the way the light danced across his features. Scars and all, he was hers—and she couldn’t imagine a life without him. She gave his hand a squeeze.

“I think this might be my favorite day already,” she whispered, her voice barely louder than the waves in the distance.

Sera watched him as he looked out toward the sea, the way the ocean wind caught his hair, the soft look in his eyes. He looked peaceful—really peaceful—and that made her heart ache in the best way.

She leaned into his side gently, resting her head against his shoulder as they walked. “You deserve perfect,” she whispered, just loud enough for him to hear. “You deserve this kind of peace. This kind of quiet.”

The sand began to crunch softly beneath their feet as they reached the beach, the sound of the waves growing louder with every step. Sera closed her eyes for a moment, just feeling his warmth beside her, the cool breeze against her cheeks, and the safety that came from simply being by his side.

She turned her head to smile up at him, her voice gentle, “Let’s find a good spot?”
