Dylan sighed, setting his phone aside. He missed her...

Liliana rolled onto her side, petting one of the dogs. She stared at the wall, and pulled the blanket over her.

Dylan hugged his pillow, imagining it was her. It still faintly smelled of her.

The next morning, she went to the barn. She wasn't even riding anymore, and just turned the horses out to the pastures.

Dylan went to his classes, focusing on his work. Eventually, he broke off for lunch and FaceTimed her in a nearby Cafe.

She answered, still at the barn. "Hey." She greeted.
