Maxine continued for a while before she heard Charlie wake up from her much needed nap "I'll get her... why don't you take a bath?" she suggested "It'll help relax your muscles a bit more and i'll get dinner started... you can take the speaker in and listen to music too if you'd like?" she offered.

Sage was more than happy to lay there while Max rubbed his muscles, though he raised his head to look over in Charlie's direction when he heard her wake up. He hummed lightly and nodded, stretching slightly and rolling over and sitting up once Max got up and off of him. He padded over to get some cozy clothes and then slipped into the bathroom. He grabbed the speaker too....it was a good idea on Max's part. He spent a while on there, for once...really until the water got cold. Then he slipped out and got cozy in his pajamas before headong back out to his family.

Maxine smiled and headed off to tend to Charlie letting her husband relax for a while. When he came out their simple dinner of eggs and toast with some strawberries on the side was ready. "Feeling better?" She asked him raising a brow "You look like you're doing better." She admitted.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to Max's comment and gave her a sheepish grin. "I got a little bit too wound up," he admitted. "It was nice to relax for a little while." His gaze travelled to the fresh food...good, he was really hungry. He'd been stressed, so he hadn't eaten much the past few days, and he slid into a chair at the kitchen table eagerly.

"Gee did you? I didn't notice." She giggled as she brought their plates to the table she too was quite hungry so she gave Charlie some banana slices to occupy her whilst Max ate dinner. She gave a smile to her husband before she got to work on her plate.

Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes at Max's comment, his wife's usual shenanigans bringing a soft smile to his face. He reached for his plate and dug in eagerly, occasionally looking over at Charlie when she babbled or cooed or tried to mumble something around a big mouthful of banana. It was rather amusing, and he could definitely use a good laugh, and a night to relax and just screw around with his family.

She snickered at him and looked at Charlie with a laugh "I think someone else is gonna need a bath tonight..." She admitted looking at her daughter as she smeered some banana somewhat in but mostly by her mouth unable to stop herself from laughing "Okay we gotta get a cupcake or something for Charlie on her birthday because that is going to be hilarious..." She admitted.

Sage chuckled and nodded in response to Max's comment. "As long as she wears soemthing we don't mind getting stained," he hummed in a rather amused tone of voice. He really did love his family, and he didn't know what he would have done if he hadn't met Max or had Charlie. His thoughts wandered to Lance...they hadn't seen him much recently, since they'd been getting ready for Hades, and he'd left them alone to work. But that was over now, and he wondered how the older man was doing. "We should give your dad a call at some point. Let him know everything went well and all the rest," he hummed lightly.

Maxine laughed "All her clothes are pretty much clothes I don't mind her getting stained." She chuckled "It's bound to to happen." She replied with a smirk "I mean you've met me right? You know how many clothes of mine are stained with paint?" She teased before nodding "Definitely!" She chirped happily "He'll be glad to come by for sure." She guessed "And Charlie's birthday is soon so we'll get to see Hailey and Travis again... and we'll invite over the women with the twins too." She said happily.

(I completely forgot about her and forgot her name LOL)

Sage chuckled and nodded lightly with a shrug. "Fair enough," he hummed lightly. Then he nodded. "We have to tell him you're pregnant again too....he doesn't know that yet. Neither does Hailey or Travis," he pointed out. Then he nodded and got up to our plates away happily. "That sounds good to me," he chirped.
