Malakai Negri - Kai just started crying when she asked if there was anyone he could talk to. There was never anyone for him. Never anyone to talk to about this kind of thing. His father, well, was his father. His mother would just be weird talking about that, same with his sister, and his brother had just learned all about this. There was no one.

Camery Valatieri - Cam watched him as he started to cry, her chest aching. She wished to high bell she could help him. She wanted to make everything okay again. She went to grab him some tissues and sat back down at his side. If he needed to cry, she could be there for him. She might not understand why he was crying, but she could sit there and hold him while he did. She gently wiped his tears from his face, and rested her hand on his cheek. "Kai, tell me everything that's going through your head right now. Don't think about it, just say it," she murmured softly. She leaned in to peck his forehead. "It'll help, I promise."

Malakai Negri - Kai sobbed. "They cut me- they burned me- they tore me up until I-I was barely human. They t-took a part of me..." he sobbed. "Its is a big deal... no one but two people have touched me there... Its important, and now its gone..." he sobbed.

Camery Valatieri - Cam sat quietly for a moment, letting her hand slip from his cheek to his neck as she tried to wipe his tears with a gentle hand. "I know babe," she whispered softly. She hoped her words would start to bring some sort of comfort as she thought that she was going to say next. "But Kai, you sure so human," she murmured, her thumb gently rolling over his skin. "And you're still so you. They can't take any part of you away," she murmured carefully. Her eyes wandered up to the top of one of his wings, where the worst of it was, then ran her hand lightly up the other one until it reached the same spot. "It's still there. Just because you can't feel it right now..." she trailed off slightly, her finger running through the fold that would have once gotten such a reaction from him. "... doesn't mean it's not there. The feeling might come back, or it might not. But it's still there," she whispered. "And you're still alive to feel so much else," she added gently to him. "You're still Malakai. You never won't be."

Kai just sobbed. Her words were nice and kind and supportive, and he wanted to believe her, but he couldn't. They had taken something away from him. It wasn't just the spot that was important, it was that feeling. That feeling wasn't only the pleasure, but it was that feeling of love and connection to that person. That feeling of she was the only person for him. The only person in he world that was perfect.

Camery sighed softly, and ran her fingers softly through his hair. She didn't know what else to do. She couldn't relate at all. She didn't have anything that made her feel the way he had. After a moment, though, she shook her head and moved to settle down next to him. "It'll be ok," she murmured. She already felt bad enough... and watching his sobbing getting heavier just brok her. She could go if she want helping, if he wanted her to. "I love you so much. You know that. You're not anything less."

Kai just cried. He leaned into her, burying his face in her chest and crying.

Camery wrapped her arms around him when he buried his face into her, her head aching at the sight. "I know babe, I know," she whispered almost to herself. She squeezed him tight, burying her nose into his hair. She should have done more to protect him. He didn't deserve this... he didn't deserve anything that had happened in the last few days. As soon as she got the chance, she'd gut her father for this. For making him feel inhuman, or like he wasn't enough. Tears pricked her eyes for a moment, but quickly blinked them away. He just needed to be held... for a little while, at least. She wished she knew more so she could help him. She might make a detour at some point to talk to his mother about it... now about how it felt, but why he was so upset about it all. What she could do to make him feel better. Kai eventually stopped crying, but stayed in her arms, face buried in her chest. He just stayed there, sniffling.

Camery sat silently as he cried into her, although she pulled away just a little when his shoulders stopped shaking. She had to make this right for him, somehow. She'd find out what she was missing when it came to his wings, and fix how he felt. And as soon as the chance arose, she'd fucking kill her parents. Rip them limb from limb if she had to, mangle them the way they'd mangled Kai. But, that was a different thought. Right now, making sure he was at very least okay was more important. She gently shifted so that she was curled up on his bed, and pulled him in a little more. Her thumb played on his neck and she gave a soft smile. "Better?" She whispered gently.
