Andi shifted around in the kitchen, sort of pacing around as her mind raced for a bit. She truly still had no idea what could ease Tyler into forgiving himself.. With how stubborn and hard headed he was it wasn't going to be as easy. Andi soon snapped out of thought as she heard the cabin door once more, she looked over seeing Tyler. She made her way from around the kitchen counter and into the dining room which was closer to where he was. At his request she nodded her head, looking out the nearby window "Ok ok, take your time" Andi informed him, at least happy he was going to talk with her about what happened.

Tyler swallowed down a smart comment - not the time - and leaned against the door frame, preparing for mental torture. "So... as you know, I was a guardian angel. There was a point when I was like them- except I still wore black clothing but that was just me. They disliked my sense of humor, but we got along okay, and I had everything they had... so up there? I was normal." He took in a breath, and started the real story. "A long time ago I was sent down to Earth to guard a girl around your age. Her name was Shiloh Everdeen, and she was about as happy and perfect as you could think. She had a job, she was doing good in school, she already had her own house- honestly, I didn't even really know why I was protecting her. We grew close as friends, and tended to spend time together a lot.. I grew to like her, and we had a connection. One night it was deer hunting season and instead of being around her I left to go hunt. My gut told me something was off, but I ignored it. Soon I had a dreaded feeling, but I ignored it until I saw a deer. I shot and missed.. which never happens, and that was when I understood something was off. So I ran on back home, looking everywhere for Shiloh to no avail. At this point I was terrifed something had happened to her. Finally I looked in a local bar she liked to visit- and there she was, captured, yet not injured... yet anyway. She had gone to clean like she did every Saturday, and had got in the way of a drug bust. These men took her captive, and when I got there all hell broke loose. She got shot immediately, and they knocked me out. When I woke up, Shiloh was dead. I never forgave myself for not being there in the first place, and for being so weak I let myself get knocked out by humans- and I never will. It was my fault she died, I was supposed to be with her, and instead I was a selfish idiot and went to go pursue earthly pleasure that I did not need. Because I wanted to do my own thing, it cost her life. After that the angels shamed me and started hating me, said I was a monster, said I couldn't do anything right. They didn't give me another person to protect until a 82 year old man in the middle of nowhere- and he literally died of old age a year after I got there. After that every single person I protected was a man, so I couldn't get attatched in any way. I didn't even show myself to them, just.. watched and waited for something to happen. After my last epic fail they brought me back up to heaven, beat me up, and told me I had to watch you. To me, it was hell on earth, because I couldn't bear the thought of failing again, and at that point I was terrified of woman. I never wanted to be with humans again, and I knew they were just punishing me. I'm sorry if I've been a bit distant, and haven't done much but tease. I'm only doing that because I realized I care about you, and I am scared that if I do... something bad is going to happen." Tyler explained, letting out a small huffof air.

Andi looked back over at Tyler as he began to speak. She nodded along with the first part of the story and if that's what Tyler thought as normal than she believed he was still normal but she didn't say anything as to let him continue speaking. As he went on about the real story, she realized the girl had a lot in common with herself. A job, doing good in school, own apartment... Well at least she used to have those things in common... Andi shook her head slightly as she got side tracked and continued to listen. She tried her best to keep the pitiful expression from showing on her face but it didn't take long for it to reappear as he finished up and let out a small huff. "I'm sorry that happened..." Was all she said to start off with. It truly was a lot to take in at the moment so she needed another minute before speaking again. "You don't have to apologize for being distant or teasing, I quite enjoy the teasing that we do back and forth..." Andi lets out a soft sigh looking down at her hands , she wasn't quite sure what else to say. It was a horrible event that happened and she didn't know of anyway to help him move past it besides talking. Even then she wasn't sure if he wanted to hear her drag on about it.

LOL that's fine, when the deviled eggs call you respond. Now I'm hungry XD))

Andi shot her look down letting out a small snort "I can't help it, you know I'm bad at keeping the meotion off my face" She sort of protested. Then she continued to listen to Tyler as he spoke. Finally she mustered up the courage to say a few words. "Well, you really did make a mistake but if you don't forgive yourself there will never be peace. You will always be on edge and uptight over every small thing you do." She said but by that time she noticed Tyler had already zoned out, probably talking to the ghost.... Well at least she gotten out what she wanted to say, whether he heard it or not. Then at his last comment she smiled slightly seeing that he started sort of started to act like his normal self. Andi went to turn and follow him into the kitchen when she heard glass shattering along with the sound of gun shots ringing in the air. Her heart started pounding, frozen in fear, she wasn't quite sure what to do when a painful sting started to ache on her arm. She looked down already seeing blood lightly stain her shirt, now knowing that she had gotten grazed by a bullet.

Everything seemed to slow as bullets started ripping through the walls. Tyler's heart pounded and his vision swam. -I can't lose her too... I can't lose Andi- He thought, a feeling of dread settling in on him. Something snapped in his brain, telling him Andi was in mortal danger, telling him he needed to act. "Nooo!" Tyler roared in pure terror as he launched himself forward with superhuman speed, just in time for a bullet to rip through his thigh. Searing pain flooded his head but he knew he couldn't stop until the danger was gone. He was not failing Andi. He couldn't. Tyler landed with a roll and slammed into the wall, staggring to his feet and shoving Andi to the ground behind the other wall. He then darted outside, ignoring the fact his body said he couldn't walk and doing it anyway. His wings flared out for the first time in a long time as Tyler let out an outraged yell of fury, doing something else he hadn't done in a long time. He whirled in a circle, razor sharp feathers from his wings shooting out in every direction but the house. Shrieks of pain echoed from the people, and they all stumbled away- not dead... yet. "Andi.. Andi..." Tyler mumbled, fear shooting through every nerve in his body that he was too late, that he hadn't acted fast enough, that he didn't try hard enough. He stumbled back inside, his eyes wide. "A-andi! Are y-you o-okay?!" Tyler's words were slurred from pain and fear.

Andi grasped her shoulder as it began to ache again, finally her brain caught up to what was going on as bulelts starte firing at the far end of the cabin. She side stepped swiftly over to safety.... OR at least she thought it was saftey. When suddenly she heard Tyler roar, she didn't have anytime to react as he leapt in front of her then rolled slamming into the other wall. She went to rush over to him when he wuickly staggered to his feet "Tyler! Are you okay?" She asked in a panic, forgetting about her own pain for a second. When he shoved her to the ground, she understood that as a state of stay here and stay low. Andi scooted back till she was under a counter. She curled her knees up to her chest staying still, her breathing was heavy as panic mixed with worry was starting to settle in. Andi had no clue what was happening outside but a few moments she heard agonizing screams, she listened being thankful none of them sounded like Tylers. She stayed still though not moving until she knew it was okay too. That's when she heard footsteps coming up the porch steps, she waited anxiously hoping that it was Tyler and when it was she immeadiately got up rushing over to him. "Yes, yes! I'm fine!" Andi responded, her voice filled with the same anxiousness and panic as before. She looked him over seeing blood soaking his pants. "Your not though, come sit down so I can stop the bleeding" She told him firmly, taking his hand and helping him over to the couch.

Tyler closed his eyes, letting a breath whoosh out of him. He was suddenly very very sleepy, but he knew if he did fall asleep there was a slim chance he would wake back up. "Good..." He mumbled, forcing his eyes open. "I-I'm really r-really glad you're o-okay." Tyler finally said with a tiny smile, only bcause he couldn't speak again. That always seemed to happen when he was in extreme pain. His leg was screaming at him that it as going to give out, so Tyler staggered over to the couch as asked and collapsed with a wince. "Ouch. P-painful. A-aaand I'm s-sleepy that's a b-bad sign y-yayyy..." He rolled his head, letting his head drop against the back of the couch. "Are you s-sure you're okay you- you're b-bleeding." Tyler suddenly furrowed his eyebrows, glancing at her shoulder as he lifted his head. "Did a b-bullet hit you!?" He sunded extremely worried.

Andi noticed that Tyler had begun to get really tired which meant he probably had lost a lot of blood and a lot of energy as he had just fought whoever was outside. She gave him a tiny smile back "Well I'll be even better once your okay" She commented quietly to him as they made they way over to the couch. She made sure he was settled on the couch before heading over to retrieve the medical kit. As soon as she got it she headed back "Yes it is a bad sign." Andi agreed with worry as she starting setting up the medical kit, she grabbed a towel out of there and began putting pressure on his thigh. As he began speaking she looked at him, that comment made her realize about her own pain and a agonizing pain went down her arm but she continued keeping the pressure on his leg. When his head shot up, she instantly tried to calm him down. "I only got grazed by one, it's not that bad. Please don't worry just relax" She told him.. Well more like pleaded towards the end as she really didn't want him to be more worried than he already was,

Tyler's breaths came in short, shuddering gasps as he closed his eyes again. -Do not fall asleep do not fall asleep don't you dare fall asleep- He thought, feeling like there was something more wrong than a shot leg. Suddenly Tyler jerked up with a cough, covering his mouth with his hand. It came back bloody. "T-that's a very b-bad sign. Internal b-bleeding equals n-not good." He mumbled, his head throbbing. "A-Andi I would rather d-die 100 times o-over than have you b-be in pain for th-three seconds. Y-you've made me realize that r-relationships and friendships a-are very important, a-and that I c-can't just n-neglect that b-because I'm s-scared of myself g-getting hurt when s-someone else g-gets hurt. You are s-special, and I am s-sorry if I ever l-let you down. I l-love you Andi." Tyler mrumured, forcing every word out through a ringing of noise. Even though it was almost deadly silent except for his stuttering, he still heard gunshots- except there was screams intermixed. People sobbing. And of course, Shiloh's voice pleading out *help me, help me, help me*. The people he failed to save. He just wanted to make it right for Andi. That was all he cared about now. "J-just promise m-me you won't exhaust y-yourself t-taking care of m-me and p-patch up your s-small wound?" Tyler asked with a weak smile, staring up at the ceiling so he wouldn't fall asleep. Even though his vision was dancing like ballerinas on a show day, and his eyelids felt like they each had an elephant sitting on them, and his leg hurt badly enough it felt like it had been chopped off, AND last but not least he was coughing up blood- he still felt like he needed to talk to Andi about important matters that should be disgusted when one of them wasn't in danger of dying.
