"Good." She smirked playfully before chuckling "I was about 15 when I started babysitting so trust me I know... my first babysitting gig I wore dangly hoop earrings... my ears were hurting for a solid week after that and I never did that again..." She snickered before eyeing his earrings "They're shiny that's why I'm sure." She admitted "If it catches her eye her hands and or mouth will be on it."

Sage grunted in agreement and shrugged. "She puts anything she sees in her mouth," he pointed out. "Shiny things are cool," he hummed, setting Charlie down when she started squirming around, and watched the little girl carefully as she crawled around the room and over to check out the baby sitter. He had to admit, the girl was alright....she was good with kids it seemed, along with everything else. And she didn't seem too put off by him, so she had the guts to speak up if need be. Emma giggled lightly "Fair point." she admitted watching him set Charlie down, when she came over she smiled at the little girl "Hi there Charlie!" she chirped happily picking her up without a second thought putting her on her lap "Aren't you cute!" she smiled "Uh do you have any pets?" she asked curiously "Just so I know how many of your babies i'm watching..." she giggled glancing at them before she started playing with Charlie trying to teach the little girl some paddy cake.

Sage watched Emma scoop the girl up and start playing with her, his shoulders relaxing slightly. He still wasn't super happy with leaving his one year old daughter for so long, but Emma seemed to be pretty darn good at her job, so he could go and have some fun. He shrugged in response to the older girls question. "There's a cat that comes and goes...she's an outdoor cat that I sort of grew up with, so she comes in to sleep her at night and does what she pleases through the day," he informed her. "If she starts meowing at you, there's some bowls by the couch in that corner for her. Tap waters fine, and there's some cat food in the fridge," he added. (I low-key forgot the cats name, I'll have to go back and look it up xD. She kinda faded out a bit haha)

So did I xDD I think it was Daisy??) "Okay I just wanted to know." she said happily "I don't mind looking after pets I just wanna know about them before hand." she chuckled. Maxine nodded "Thats reasonable... and Charlie seems to like you." she chuckled "They usually do..." she chuckled "If she's secure in the fact that you're coming back she'll be fine even after you leave too." she smiled "I usually have parents leave the room as if they were leaving the house just to see how she does when its just her and I." she told them "Would that be alright?" she asked.

(Sounds about right lol. Well go with that) Sage hummed and nodded with a shrug and then nodded again, ushering Max and Hailey out of the room and into the bedroom where he flopped onto the bed with a sigh. Dealing with people made his head hurt, even if said person was a very nice young lady who really wasn't all that much younger than he and Max.

Emma smiled and thanked them before she just took the five minutes she needed and hung out with Charlie. After about five minutes she smiled and let them come back out looking at them "She looked around for about a minute before she thought the butterfly was more interesting then the fact that her parents and auntie were missing" she chuckled as Charlie eagerly reached her hands out to her father.

Sage was more than happy to scoop charlie up when she held her hands out for him and hummed lightly in response to Emma. "I'm sure she'll have a fun time," he said, more to himself and Max than anything else, but whatever. The fact that she wasn't upset about them leaving did settle his nerves a bit, though he still didn't want to leave her. But he did want to go have fun, and while he did feel a bit of a pang in his chest about the fact that Charlie didn't care if they left, he was looking forward to having a good time.

Max felt the little pang too but she was glad that Charlie was secure with someone she didn't know. When Emma left the two of them chatted with Hailey before she headed back home to spare her husband from looking after both kids by himself. "That was nice honestly to see though when she didn't even seem to miss us that hurt I won't lie." Max admitted with a small chuckle "What did you think of her?" She asked.

Sage hummed in agreement with Max's first comment and then sighed. "I think as far as babysitters go, that one's alright," he admitted. He still wasn't all the way comfortable leaving Charlie with someone that wants he or Max, but that was just his instincts and dark thoughts worrying him too much. "But a day to have fun will be good for all of us I think," he mused. He was excited to see what Lance had planned.
