Kai pouted. "Nooooo......." he whined again.

Camery hummed softly before giving a nod. "Yesss," she replied with a laugh. She looked up at the door for a moment before pouting. "Your nurses are coming around," she added softly, sort of flopping down again.

"Fineeeee" he grumbled, getting up and grabbing his clothes.

Camery grinned at him and sat up so he could crawl out of bed. She watched him carefully, and once he was dressed she couldn't help but look him over. "Kai, flex your wings for me?" she asked with a giggle as she reached down to grab her shirt.

Kai smiled and almost did it, but stopped himself. "I can't yet... the stitches will tear..."

Camery gave a groan of complaint when he said he couldn't, but gave an understanding nod. He always looked so strong with his wings all stretched out. She loved it. She loved how he'd always show them off for her, and she knew if he could he would. She flopped her head back slightly once she slipped her shirt on. "I love your wings," she murmured softly. "So big and strong," she hummed as though she was day dreaming with a bit of a giggle escaping her.

Malakai Negri - Kai stopped smiling, just sitting back down on the bed. "Not anymore..."

Camery Valatieri - Cam glanced up at him when she felt the bed shift, a small frown crossing her face. She crawled up behind him and wrapped her arms around his side, pressing her lips softly to the base of his neck. "Still big and strong," she promised him with a grin as she ran her fringer nails lightly down his back. "They'll heal up. Only difference is you'll have some damn cool scars across them," she murmured gently.

Malakai Negri - Kai looked at his feet, those awful thoughts flooding right back in. "Yeah... I guess so..."

Camery Valatieri - Camery sighed softly, resting her chin on his shoulder. She could tell he still wasn't happy. She didn't blame him. What had happened to him had been awful, and she really hadn't meant to upset him. "Malakai, baby boy, my king, my Fiancé, sweetheart, darling, hottest man to have ever stepped on planet earth," she started playfully, pecking his cheek softly. "You'll heal up, promise. It'll be like this never even happened. You're still strong and brave and the most brilliant person I know."
