She gave a smile "Just stay in here for a few more minutes..." She said gently "When your fever goes down then you can come out." She nodded "Take off your clothes if you want... it'll probably help." She admitted.

Sage hummed in agreement with a slight sigh, sort of letting himself slide down into the cold water so he could rest his head on the tup edge and close his eyes. Admittedly, he ended up falling asleep again, which probably wasn't the best idea, since he woke up around 15 minutes later shivering and absolutely freezing. He groaned slightly, figuring that probably hadn't helped much, and made a bit of an effort to climb up and out of the tub and peel off his very soaked (and quite cold) cloths, wrapping himself up in a much warmer towel. He dried off as best he could, though by the time he padded back to their bedroom, he only had enough energy to put underclothes on before just wrapping himself up in the towel again and pretty much passing out on the floor, using the clothes he'd gotten as some kind of pillow.

When Max returned to find him on the floor she gave a small chuckle shaking her head and picking him up off the floor putting him in their bed and burrowing him under a heap of blankets "Sleep well hun." She cooed before she went to paint for a while.

Sage didn't move when she picked him up besides curling up into a tighter ball underneath the pile of blankets she'd put on top of him. He slept for a while before waking up with a slight groan, he tried to go back to sleep, but before he knew it he'd made a mad dash for the bathroom and was on his knees puking into the bowl. He barely had the energy to flush and wipe his mouth off, and wandering back to the bed before passing out, not even going under all the covers. He just grabbed the nearest blanket and fell.

Max painted for about half an hour before she went to check on her husband again... she frowned seeing he wasn't in bed where she'd out him... she knelt beside him gently running her fingers through his hair "Sage... hey..." she said gently.

Sage stirred slightly when he felt Max's fingers in his hair and heard her voice, blinking up at her rather groggily and probably quite feverish. "Hmm," was all he managed to get out, asking her what she wanted, before sort of just closing his eyes and slumping over on her, already falling asleep again. He knew he should probably listen to what she had to say, but he was just so...tired.

"If your fever hasn't broke by tomorrow I'm taking you to Roxie..." She said simply knowing she couldn't exactly take Sage to a regular human doctor. The young women shook her head chuckling before she got her husband back in their bed moving the trashcan closer to him seeing the little bit of vomit on his lips grabbing a rag and cleaning him up before putting a fresh one on his forehead to hopefully keep him cool before she went to get Charlie... she wanted to focus all her attention on Sage so she called her dad who was more then happy to look after his granddaughter while she tended to her ailing husband. Later that night she was resting in bed with him trying to get him to drink from one of the cold water bottles that had been in the freezer for a few hours using the other to soak the rag with cold water again.

Sage simply grunted in response to Max's comment...he didn't have the energy to do or say anything else. But, Roxie would know what to do, not a human doctor, so at least that might help if he didn't get any better by then. It was also good that Lance could care for Charlie...he didn't want Max to overwork herself looking after both of them. She was doing plenty of work already...trying to keep his temperature down, helping him to the bathroom to throw up, at least until they decided just keeping a bowl next to the bed was a better idea, and whatever else. Maxine gave a small sigh and went to change out and fill the water bottle shed used up on Sage... it seemed to be helping do she'd worry about the sheets and whatnot later... in addition to the new ice cold water bottle she decided to bring in a popsicle both for her and for Sage... maybe it was something he could keep down as it was mostly water, food dye and some flavoring "Hey..." She said gently "I brought you a popsicle..."

Sage stirred slightly when he heard max's voice and blinked up at her groggily before shifting slightly to reach for the popsicle. Hopefully, he could keep it down...he needed the water. It wasn't much nutrient wise, but at least it had some water. If he could keep it down. It tasted awful, but he kept licking it anyway, hoping to try and keep it down (what if he ends up dying in Max's arms? I'm tempted lol, just for drama sake haha)
