Rose woke the next morning, walked downstairs, and grabbed a redbull before sitting on the couch and flipping through Tiktoks. Her mind slwoly wandered to her hope of marrying Caden one day like they planned oh so long ago

Caden slept until late morning or early afternoon.He woke up,still hot.He got up and walked into the kitchen,looking for his phone.

"Hey, handsome" She said, smiling and watching him

"Hey.Have you seen my phone anywhere?Swear I had it last night." He says,searching through drawers.

Rose shook her head with a confused look. "No. where was it last?"

"Nevermind it.I'll find it later." He says,grabbing a redbull.Caden stopped infront of the broken window. "Hm,okay." He says,walking back into the guest room and lying down on the bed,turning on the TV

Rose got up and walked to the spare bedroom. "Can I join you? And whya re you in here and not upstairs?"

"Because im pretty sure im running a fever or something.Woke up sweating like a dog,took my shirt off,that did nothing.And it's....63 degrees in here." He says,taking a sip of the redbull.

Rose turned on her heel and walked out. "Yeah, you have fun with that" She said with a laugh his direction

"Oh trust me,I will!" He called back sarcasticly,chukcling.
