Malakai Negri - Kai was shocked she came back so quick, actually quite alarmed. "What? Whats wrong?" he asked, worried, until he saw the ring. "Oh my gosh... how'd you get it back?" |

Camery Valatieri - Cam smiled at him, her eyes watering just a little. She pecked his lips again with a grin, shaking her head as she looked down at the ring. "My - my mother..." she trailed off with a chuckle, looking back up at him. "She sent it back," she cried. She didn't know why she was crying. It was relief, she thought. |

Malakai Negri - Kai smiled gently. "Hey, this is a good thing," he reassured her, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Happy tears only, right?" |

Camery Valatieri - Cam grinned at him through her tears, nodding as she slipped the ring back on her finger. "Happy tears only," she repeated with a soft laugh, wiping her face dry. "I thought I'd lost it... it was your grandmothers - I let you down - but its back now. I'll look after it this time," she sobbed, although there was still a slight smile across her face, really just glad to have it back. |

Camery Valatieri - Cam just smiled at him. He could say it as much as he wanted, but she felt like she'd let him down. She felt like she'd messed up, somehow. She'd let herself down when she'd lost it. It was so important to her, and to him too. But it was back now. Thank the gods. She sort of collapsed into him, holding onto his shirt tightly. "My mother said she tried to stop my dad," she whispered, looking up at him. "I think he's lost it... he always listens to her," she added softly, wiping her face again as she tried to settle down. |

Malakai Negri - Kai hugged her. "She's okay right? Cause if he's hurting her, I can get her out," |

Camery Valatieri - Cam nodded quietly. "I think so... he's- he's not a violent man, Kai," she murmured. When she thought about it, her father had been nothing but kind and loving to everyone she'd met. This all seemed so strange to her. |

Camery Valatieri - Cam nodded and held onto him a bit tighter, burying her face into his chest. She closed her eyes for a moment before letting out a heavy breath of air. She slipped the ring onto her finger and gave a small smile. Hopefully... things would start to calm down soon. (Feel free do do a little skip!)
