Sage just squeezed her hand lightly, still clearly amused by the whole conversation. It did appeal him though, he could admit that.

Celeste giggled and kissed his head.

Sage just grinned up at her before sighing and looking over at the kitchen. "Is there any deer left in there," he asked after a moment or so. It just sounded good at that moment.

"Probably. Want me to go look?"

Sage nodded, moving to sort of sit up with a grunt. "Would you," he asked, sort of getting himself upright and plopping into a chair heavily.

Celeste nodded, getting up, carrying Att, who was still sleeping and going over to the fridge pulling out the last of the deer and plating it for Sage.

Sage settled himself at the counter, feeling a bit better after his nap. He thanked Celeste lightly when she handed him the deer, and nibbled at it slowly. He held the meat down earlier, so he should be fine now ...but he didn't want to rush anything either.

Celeste smiled, sitting across from him. "How are you feeling?"

Sage hummed softly and shrugged. "Better after a nap," he mused. "Still a little sore, kinda tired. A goods night sleep and I should be pretty much back to normal," he added lightly.
