Ajax's face lit up like the 4th of July fireworks, and he barked a laugh... which he immediettely regretted, almost doublng over as pain flared through his body. "Roasted rattlensakes ouch okay lesson learned DO NOT laugh when you have bad chest pain or holes in your bosy that shouldn't be there." He hised quickly, shaking his head slightly before waiting for it to fade away mostly. "ANYWAY... you can turn into a SNAKE? Awesome. Maybe you should just show me that." Ajax commented with a slight snicker, looking at her as she started complaining. "Too bad if you're impatient, I may be good at making jokes but my mind does not work fast enough to think up a good dare... especially when immense pain racks my body." He stated with a wry smile. At Mercy's last sentence Ajax sighed slightly, putting a dramatically mournful look on his face. "Well I guess if you stab me a couple times I'll get semi-happy again. Good luck." He replied in a sad tone, though his eyes twinkled wildly.

Mercy jumped as he doubled over in pain, reaching for him and pausing at the last second, since he was recovering on his own. She slowly sat back as he regained control of himself. She gave him a sassy look. "I'm not here to entertain you, even if you are broken." She said sarcastically, not pleased with his latest jumpscare. She rolled her eyes. "I always knew you were slow in the head." She teased, then gave him a playful glare. "Don't tempt me, I just might do it." She added sarcastically, stretching out slightly.

Ajax half flinched backwards when Mercy reached for him. "I'm fine, just paying the price for LAUGHING." He said sourly. "I guess this is hell, eh?" Ajax added with a joking glance, smiling slightly at her look. "Well you're sure doing a good job at it." He answered with clear amusement. "Aw, slow? Me? Neeever." Ajax drawled, sprawling his words out a little and giving Mercy a look. "Oh I'm sure you would." He said wit a completely emotionless voice and his face the same way, so Mercy couldn't tell if he was joking or not

She scowled at him. "Sorry for caring." She said giving him a bit of side eye. "For me, maybe, but you seem to be enjoying yourself quite a bit." Mercy huffed. "Yes, well, I'm glad you get a kick out of it." She stood, gently stretching her wings and weaving around the trees. She stopped at his last comment, leaning against a tree and making direct eye contact with him. It didn't take her even half a second to realuze he was joking, but she still gave him a death stare anyway.

Ajax's eyes twinkled as he watched her. "I'm glad I did, too." He chuckled, looking at her with raised eyebrows as she glared at him. "What'd I do now? I haven't been hurt in the last 5 seconds. I don't have any more wounds. Why the death stare?" Ajax asked with a quiet snort

Goose woke up from his nap, deciding to go check on Ajax. He went over to where Rooster was and told the man where he was going, flying towards the cave. When Goose saw Bellatrix's body and Ajax sitting on the ground with waaay too many holes in him, and Mercy right next to him... his brain stopped and he almost had a heart attack. "Ajax! Why do you not have a shirt on!? The last time I have ever seen you without a shirt someone stabbed you in the chest! AJAX! WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY HOLES IN YOUR BODY!? Ajax! What the HELL happened!? Ajax! Why is Bellatrix's BODY laying in a BUSH! AJAX. WHY DO YOU HAVE NO SHIRT ON." Goose yelped and screeched at the same time, his voice rising to a pitch no one thought was possible for a man to accomplish. When Rooster spoke Goose stared at him wide eyed. "Rooster!" He squeaked, but that was all he managed to say

Rooster followed Goose as he left, his eyes widened as Goose started screeching and he saw the scene. When the blonde man was done Rooster moved forward, a stunned look on his face. "Ajax, what happened? Mercy, what happened? Ajax, WHY do you have no shirt on!?" Rooster exclaimed. That was as many words as Mercy had probably ever heard him squeeze into a sentence, and that was the loudest his voice had probably EVER gotten.

Ajax winced every time Goose's voice raised to MACH 5, muttering something about his ears bleeding. He was about to answer when Rooster spoke, and he just gaped at the red - haired man. After he had gotten over his shock (around 629 years later), he explained quietly. "Well Bellatrix decided this would be a good night to murder me. She did not exceed. Mercy had to do as much as she could to heal my wounds. The end." He answered every one of their long repeated questions in a couple short sentences.

"I like making you think youre in trouble." She shrugged, flashing him a dazzling smile before she started walking back to his side. She stopped like a deer in headlights when the chorus of an angry, squawking gremlin-harpy noises began issuing from Goose like he was a speaker. She blinked blindly at the man, giving him a blank stare as her brain did a manual restart from the noise level. "Uhm, Goose, are you quite sure you're healthy? Because I'm pretty sure if you keep going, the only who will be able to hear you are bats and dogs." She said, almost snappishly. She rubbed one of her ears sourly. She blinked at Rooster in surprise. She didn't know he was capable of formulating that many words in a row. She flopped down on the ground in front of Ajax as he finished. "Well said. Also, of all the things that shocked you most, why was the no shirt part so prevalent?" She asked, giving Goose a quizzical look. "The man looks like he got impaled, stabbed, beaten, and fed to a bunch of ravenous lions at the same time. Is it not obvious where the shirt went anyway?" She gestured to the black strips of fabric currently keeping Ajax from looking like a piece of swiss cheese.

Ajax watched Mercy throughout this broadcasting of Goose's thoughts, almost blowing up with the effort of holding in his roars of laughter. Snickers and chuckles would escape, but he knew if he laughed he would probably blow his insides all over the forest floor. Then Goose would be squealing about a lot more.

Goose kept looking at Rooster in shock before snapping out of it and turning to Mercy. "I'm SORRY I CANNOT think straight when I see my best friend laying there with no shirt on." He grumped, leaning against a tree and crossing his arms. He listened to what Mercy said again... and really couldn't help but bursting into laughter. "Okay okay you're completely right. I can see where the shirt went, and I know that is NOT the most important thing... my brain died, sorry." He commented once he found out what air was again.

When Goose started laughing and Ajax really took in Mercy's words, he wanted to laugh so badly it almost hurt more to keep it in. The pressure literally just built up inside of him like a bomb ready to blow. He couldn't help but let out series of snorts, snickers, chuckles, and slight gasps as he tried to gain some airflow, putting his head in his hands for a moment and calming himself down. Ajax's face was actually a little red from trying not to laugh so hard. "Impaled... stabbed... beaten... fed to a bunch of ravenous lions..." He repeated. "Do I REALLY look that bad?" Ajax finally asked as he looked up, his eyes twinkling

She watched Goose have a mini stroke from laughter at her words, smiling. "Wow, a brain, Goose? And here I thought there were only a bunch of rainbows and cupcakes dancing around in there." She rolled her eyes at him. Mercy looked at Ajax in shock as he had a small manic episode, having to cover her mouth to stop from bursting out in laughter at the stream of snorts and all other noises of entertainment. She was trembling with the effort, closing her eyes for a moment as she pulled herself back together, taking note of his red color. She tilted her head at him and put on her most sarcastic voice. "Lovely, did you expect me to call you dazzling? Or dashing? Handsome, ravishing? Because honestly, you resemble a piece of swiss cheese more than a demon at this point."

Goose stopped and looked shocked, his hand flying to his head as he pretended to pass out, falling backwards and hitting the ground with a thump. "Oh, woe is me. How dare you. I wisheth I couldeth get a braineth but everyone sayseth I have noneth so I gave up hopeth." Goose cried out, sitting back up with a grin that could have lit up the sky.

Ajax looked at Mercy with a warning glance as he realized she would say something he would NOT like, but it was too late. His face consisted of only mental pain as she spoke. "Dazzling? Dashing? Handsome? Ravishing? I can barely pronounce those words. They sound like something from an Elvis fan. *Oh darling you are just RAVISHING today, what did you do Mr Handsome?*" Ajax raised his voice to a much higher pitch and fluttered his eyes as he said the last part. "COME ON MERCY are you TRYING to MURDER me." He asked with a growly snort, looking at Goose with a slight sigh. "Plus, I know I look like swiss cheese, but I'm a piece of DEMONIC swiss cheese." He ended defensively

She laughed at Goose's attempt at OlDe EnGlIsH, laying back on the grass. She looked back at Ajax and rolled her eyes, busting out laughing at his feminine voice. "Ajax, of all the celebrities you could think of, Elvis? Really?" She put her head in her hands and shook her head. "Yes, I am trying to murder you after I just exhausted myself to save your life. How did you know?" She asked, perking up and giving him a mock innocent look, her pale blue eyes sparkling slightly. She raised her hands sarcastically. "Sir, yes, sir, Demonic Swiss Cheese it is." She gave him a salute.
