Raven heard hooves coming up to her and she turned her head to look. Seeing her mate walking up to her and nipping her as he came up her side. "Morning handsome." She nickered in response to the snowflaked stallion. She nuzzled him as she finished chewing on the grasses. She bent her neck to pluck at some more, nibbling and pulling up big mouthfuls. She stood up again glancing at him contently. She flicked her tail slightly at the gnats. Her blue hues mellowed but focused on her surroundings. She finished eating what she had gathered and licked her lips looking at the grasses. She had eaten down almost of the tall grass around her and was just pulling up the leftovers short grasses from the roots. She didn't seem to be stopping at all either. Just continuing to pull up more and more mouthfuls of grass. She looked at him happily, hues sparkling gently.

The stood tall by her side, taking in the sights of the day before them. Audits flicked as he watched her eat. "I have been wondering.." he nickered as he began to play with her mane slightly bored. "Do you want to settle here or do you want to check out the plains?"

She looked up at him curiously when he started to speak. She just munched and listened to his soothing voice. Her eyes closed when he began playing with her mane, she enjoyed his affections. She thought for a moment before answering giving herself time as well to finish her food. "Well....I've always wanted to check out the plains. There's lots of things there I've never been able to see. We mostly stayed up in the Mountains away from others. Can we?" She asked him curiously ears pricked in excitement. She looked down at the massive barren patch that she had been working on all morning. "Hmm..." She crooned softly. "I'm still kinda hungry but I've finished this off already." She laughed. She looked around for more but not finding anything. She sighed. "Could we head out there now?" She asked him.

The stallion looked over her "Well... we meet in the mountains, I brought you here to the beach.. I'll take you anywhere you wish to go my love" he nickered as he ruffled her forelock with a slight chuckle at her eagerness for adventure. Red hues looked around, he didn't mind the beach but, he wasn't fond of it that's for sure, and he refused to eat the seaweed here, lush fresh and a fresh river to drink from called to him. "Yes, come on" he nickered as he began to lead them out and away from the beach in the direction of the plains. Nothing, but the sounds of the ocean could be heard getting quietier and quietier. Audits flicked in alert as he carefully led them on a new journey, his plumage playfully flicked over her frame before he slowed his pace so she could join him at his side.

The mares eyes sparkled excitedly at his answer. She pranced a little in place before he began moving. She followed happily as he set the pace for their little adventure. His tail flicked against her and she giggled slightly as he slowed down and let her catch up. She came up beside him and reached over nibbling his mane briefly. Her audits perked forward but on a swivel as they moved. The sounds of waves crashing in the distance slowly turned into birds and rustling leaves and critters scurrying about around them as the area became more wooded and forested.

Eventually they neared the plains, trees became fewer and flowers were popping up here and there. The tall grasses took over the landscapes around them. There was a river in the distance snaking through the lands, herds of horses were spread out. Butterflies and Bees buzzing about from flower to flower.

Raven gasped at the sights. She took off at a canter excited to see the wild flowers. She stopped short lowering her head at the clusters of flowers in the grass. Her nostrils flaring as she inhaled their sweet scents. She glanced back at Vader. "Can you eat them?" She asked curiously. She hadn't ever tried to, she knew some of them were okay to eat but didn't know what.

The pair trecked two hours through the mucky marsh and forested area heading towards the plains. He was glad spring was nearing. Nostrils flared taking in the musky scents around them audits pinning softly at their horrid smell, as they kept pressing forward.

Soon, the plains came into view, the sweet scents of the lush grass was blowing in the wind, the sounds of birds and their singing rang through the air, it seemed like a fairytale land here. He had heard the plains were beautiful, but never thought it would be like this. Red hues got wide at the view, feeling the soft grass under his feet caused him to let out a sigh of awe.

Slender audits perked as he watched his mate take off into a canter towards a bundle of wild flowers dancing in the breeze, he chuckled as she seemed to have excitment like a young filly. He paced to her side "These yes, you see how their leaves are round and the pedtals when you smell have a sweet candy scent. These are good to eat" he nickered as he lowered his muzzle down to one, softly taking a blue one from the ground and chewing it. "Mmm" he moaned for he had never tasted such sweetness before. Though, multiple scents filled the air around them, he lifted his frame to smell. Red hues began to look over the large open stretches of land all around them, small and large herds spread out all around them. His plumage flicked as he rose it some, all these horses... made him feel a bit uncomfy, he wasn't good with strangers but he swallowed hard knowing he had to let Raven make friends. He soon turned his attention to a river that flowed through the middle for everyone to drink from. He catiously looked around, studing some of the nearby herds.

The mare perked up as he walked over and she smiled. She watched as he picked one and ate it. A small moan escaped him and made her giggle. She decided to try them too and bent her head down plucking at one. Her eyes widened as the tastes hit her mouth. "Oh these are delicious." She hummed. She bent her head to graze happily on them and the grass. Her audits perked alert to the herds and things around them but she closed her blue hues just relaxing. She rested a back hoof and ate happily. These grasses where much better than the salty sweet seagrasses and seaweeds. She ate hungrily as he wandered off to the rivers edge to drink.

Not to far away another mare watched them from her herd. It was a small band of mares, she was the lead mare. She had no stallion, she ran the herd herself. Her blue hues rested on the black painted stallion, at the riverbank. She looked back to her mares seeing they were safe she wandered over to the stallion, Vader. She swished her tail releasing her scent in the air as she got closer. Teasingly trying get him to notice her. She was a drop dead gorgeous mare, blue hues like pools of crystal waters. Beautiful Sooty painted coat. A gorgeous Golden Bay paint, she was every stallions dream mare. Strong, graceful, gorgeous and a lead mare. She walked up to the stallion smiling softly. "Hello Handsome. I've never seen you around here before...what's your name?" She inquired sweetly.

The stud smiled watching his mate take in the joys of the flowers, "I'll be back love, headed to the river" he nickered as she began to devour the grass around them. Red hues carefully scanned the area around him, hoping not to be bothered. Standing tall with his chest puffed out his plumage swished in a unfriendly manner for anyone watching as he lowered his frame to drink, closing his hues for a moment as the fresh clear waters hit his gut pleasantly.

After a few gulps, the sounds of a sweet voice tickled his audits drawing his attention, blinking softly he rose his frame, red hues went to narrow in a warning his audits half way pinned before he locked his hues to a very unique colored mare that stood before him on the other side od the river. The sun rays danced offf her golden coat, she stood there strong and confident, he scanned her crystal blue hues for a moment. He cleared his throat, pinning an audit as he was taken off gaurd, "Umm Hello... Vader" he nickered deeply as he turned his frame to glance back quickly at his mate before turning back to the new mare. His stance still a bit unfriendly as his nostrils flared, he could smell her scent waffling around them as he snorted some.

The black painted mare smiled at him and grazed peacefully. She was oblivious to the mare watching her mate. Oblivious that she had walked up to Vader. Her audits perked to the sound of his voice as she listened to him speak. 'Wait....who is he talking to...' She thought and looked up. She swished her tail, hues widening slightly. 'Wow she's gorgeous....but what's she doing talking to my mate?' Raven watched on curiously, audits perked now completely alert and honed in on the two. Her heart raced slightly, but she refused to jump to conclusions just yet. She lowered her head going back to grazing quietly while keeping an eye on them.

The golden mare smiled brightly. "That's a very strong name, Vader." She crooned. She walked up beside him but gave him space and she bent her beautiful head to take a sip of water. "Mm..my names Bella." She replied. "Are you from around here?" She asked him curiously. She swished her tail slightly releasing her sweet intoxicating scent around them. She blushed softly.

The stallion watched as the golden mare came closer, he took a small step back auidts pinned somewhat shy yet uncomfortable. "Umm... Thanks" he snorted short with a raise of his brow. This mare was quiet flirty and this he sas not used too. Nostrils flared, he gritted his teeth hard yet kept his stance relaxed. "No, I'm not. I'm from the mountains" his red hues softly eyed his mate in the distance in the corner of his hues. His plumage swished nervously. What did this mare want? She was very foward.
