Dylan Montgomery - Dylan stayed by Liliths side for the rest of the day. At the barn, he also looked at the mares legs. "Jesus, what did that girl do to this horse? Run her into barbed wire?"

Ocean Baroness whinnied, her ears pinned back. She reared slightly, and made a pained squeal. "Easy, girl. Easy." Lilith murmured, grabbing the mare's halter. "omeone go call the vet. Now, please!"

Dylan Montgomery - Dylan was already a step ahead and on the phone with the vet. He gave Lilith a thumbs up. Soon enough, the vet arrived at the barn.

Lilith held Ocean Baroness still, the mare now laying down. After the vet examined her, he gave a solemn sigh. "She was pushed too far. She had too much ointment on her legs, which burned her, and her femur is broken." He stated. "Which means?" Lilith asked. "Is-is she in pain?" "Excruciating. There's no hope of her recovering." the vet sighed. Lilith looked at him, she knew what this meant. She had to put Ocean Baroness down.

Dylan Montgomery - Dylan hugged her and rubbed her back. He had no words. He couldn't reassure her, because this wasn't okay, it wasn't going to be okay.

"Okay..." Lilith caved in. She signed the paperwork needed, and watched as her one mare was put down.

Dylan Montgomery - When it was over, the vet covered the deceased mare with a blanket. Dylan held Liliths hand tightly. After a while of just staring at the lifeless form under the blanket, Dylan closed his eyes and squeezed Liliths hand. "C'mon, its late, I should get you home," he murmured to her, gently.

She blinked back her tears, and nodded. "Yeah... I gotta get the money ready anyways to cremate her." She mumbled, getting up.

Dylan Montgomery - Dylan shook his head, "Don't worry about the money," he murmured, taking her hand, "I'll pay for it, you need to mourn,"

"I told Mikaela no, and nobody but you backed me up. Now, one of my horses is dead because of her." Lilith stated.
