Rose woke with a gasp, realizing Caden was holding her. She tucked her face into his chest, crying quietly

"It's okay,your okay.Im here,your safe.Sh,just calm down." Caden spoke softly,holding her close.

Rose nodded weakly, sleep starting to pull her under but she refused to let the nightmare drag her down again

"It was'nt real.It's fine,just calm down." Caden spoke again,knowing the mind could play tricks.

Rose slowly stopped crying, breathing in Caden's scent as though he were the only thing keeping her alive. And he was

Truth was,his mind was playing tricks.Movement caught his eye.His eyes darted across the room,rolling himself back down onto the bed,shoving the feeling away.

Rose's breathing went back to normal and she remembered Caden's problem. "How are you feeling?" She asked softly

"Better." He says tiredly,lying through his teeth,Caden would wait a day or two until he told her,hoping the problems would'nt consist to early.
