Caden stood to follow her, eyes wide with fear and happiness. He was pushed back by a nurse, left to sit and panic for the worst. He held his head in his hands, lightly sweating from stress.Caden sighed, running a hand through his hair as he slightly shook, feeling a hand on his back as somebody sat beside him.He looked up to find a middle aged man, eyeing him with worry. "Hey man,it'll be fine.Trust me,I've been through it too. You'll think the worst but it won't happen, trust me." The man said softly,Caden shaking his head in denial. "N-No it was a accident....I didn't mean for her to get pregnent---and twins--I mean,I-I was hoping for atleast two more years before we even tried for one I mean...Im barely even twenty now. What if I regret this?" Caden asked sloppily, still stressing about the whole deal. "You won't.Just trust me on that.

Rosa was already in the thick of it by the time the door to the delivery room opened. Every inch of her body was on fire, the pain crashing over her in waves. The contractions came fast now, and she clenched the bed with all her strength, her breath shallow and erratic. She felt like she was being torn apart from the inside out. She could hear Caden’s voice outside the room, a faint murmur through the door, but it seemed so far away. Her mind was foggy with the intensity of the pain, and all she could focus on was getting through each wave. The nurse—who had been monitoring her closely for what felt like hours—had stepped out to grab the doctor. Rosa was alone for those moments, the loneliness of it creeping in, but there was no time for panic. She was too focused on the baby inside her. Rosa turned her head, her vision blurry with tears and exhaustion, and met his eyes. The contractions kept coming, faster now, relentless. She squeezed her eyes shut, feeling like she was being pulled under. The doctor arrived just in time, slipping into the room with a calm, practiced air, which did nothing to calm Rosa's nerves. "Alright, Rosa, let’s get you into position," the doctor said, moving quickly to prepare. "We’re almost there, just a few more pushes. You can do this." "Please…" Rosa whimpered, not sure if she was begging for it to be over or for the strength to keep going. But there was no time for either. The pressure built in her lower body until it felt like she couldn’t hold it back any longer. She was *so close*, yet so far. "One, two, three—push!" the doctor instructed. Rosa did what she could, bearing down with all the energy she had left. The pain was almost unbearable, but she didn’t care. She thought only of the tiny life she was bringing into the world. And then, she heard it. The loud, beautiful cry of her daughter, filling the room with life. Rosa’s chest tightened, a mix of exhaustion and relief rushing over her. She couldn’t see the baby yet, but the sound was everything. But there was no time to rest. "Again, Rosa, one more time," the doctor urged. "You’re doing amazing." Her body shook with the effort. And then, with one final push, the room was filled with the second cry—this one a little softer, but no less perfect. Rosa let out a shaky breath, tears filling her eyes as the doctor placed her babies on her chest. She looked down at them, her twins, their tiny faces scrunched in that beautiful, messy way only newborns could manage. Her heart swelled to the point of bursting. She couldn’t believe they were here. After months of dreaming, of waiting, they were finally in her arms. "They’re perfect," Rosa whispered, barely able to hold back the tears. In that moment, everything else faded. The pain, the fear, the exhaustion—it all melted away in the warm glow of their little family. They were here. They were finally here. And they were perfect.

Caden's head popped up when he heard the babies crying, him standing and going for the door to her room. "Sir please, sit do-" Caden turned and glared at the nurse, raging. "Those are my children. Now why can't I go see them?" He questioned, the nurse stuttering as he turned and walked in to Rosa with his kids.Caden froze in the doorway, face filling with a wide smile as he went and grabbed a doctor's stool, bringing it up to the edge of her bed and sitting, staring in awe as a tear of joyfulness rolled down his face. "You did it.This is actually real...it's actually happening..." He choked out quietly, still smiling. srry going through some block)

Rosa’s heart swelled as she watched Caden’s reaction, his smile lighting up the room. Seeing him so overwhelmed with emotion, her own tears began to spill, but they were tears of relief, happiness, and love. She reached out weakly, her fingers trembling as she touched his hand. "I... I couldn't have done it without you," she whispered, her voice soft but full of warmth. She could feel the weight of everything that had just happened—the pain, the fear, the exhaustion—but in this moment, with him sitting there beside her, it all felt worth it. She had brought their children into the world, and now they were together, in this beautiful, surreal moment of pure joy. "I’m so glad you’re here," she added, her voice cracking slightly. “I thought I might not make it, but... we did it, Caden.” She squeezed his hand, the reality of it all settling in, knowing that this was only the beginning of their journey together as parents.
