Joe chuckled heartily and nodded "True true..." he teased siding with Sage "Joe!" Travis yelped "Really i've been coming here for years man... gonna diss your best customer?" he teased Joe chuckled "Its because you're my best customer that I can tease you like this." he smirked playfully. When they went back home Travis remained quiet while Sage snuck up on his wife. Max yelped in surprised "Ahh!" she yelped shoving Sage away initially before she realized it was him. Hailey had yelped too with a laugh "Oh my god Sage!" she yelped putting a hand on her chest. When they relaxed a little the two of them were pleasantly surprised to see their husbands haircuts "You look so handsome!" Hailey chirped happily hugging Travis. Max giggled "Glad you still have longer hair then I do you handsome devil!" she chirped to her husband kissing him playfully.

Sage snickered again when Joe sided with him and was more than happy to sneak up on Max once they got back. He doubled over laughing for a moment before standing up and giving a sheepish grin to Hailey. "sorry," he wheezed lightly...he hadn't meant to startle her too, though it had been quite entertaining to watch the two of them jump. He grinned at Max when she kissed him and then snorted in amusement. "You don't know that, I have it up in a bun," he laughed, shaking his head slightly. He was glad she liked it though...really glad. He would have made a joke about him being more sexy in preparation for that night, but they were in public and the kids were running around within ear shot, so he kept quiet about that.

"The fact that you can have it in a bun tells me everything I need to know." she teased "If you had cut it shorter it wouldn't be in a bun it wouldn't be in a bun now would it be?" she teased playfully as Charlie and Oliver came running practically tackling their fathers, Travis let Oliver knock him over as he laughed "Oof! thats my little linebacker!" Travis yelped happily tickling his son.

Sage shrugged with a chuckle. "Fair," he hummed. "Hey baby girl," he laughed when Charlie flew at him like some kind of flying squirrel or something. He caught her, though stumbled back for a moment and grunted when he caught her before twirling around in a circle in the way Charlie always liked, nuzzling her neck and shoulders to tickle the girl as she squealed with laughter.

Maxine laughed at the two of them as Charlie spread out her arms "Weeeeeee!" she squealed as her father spun her. "You two are something else for sure..." Maxine laughed happily. Hailey was laughing as well as Oliver begged his father to do the same to him the man obliging happily. Once Maxine saw both of their husbands getting dizzy she yelped at the two of them to stop "Okay okay!" she yelped "Stop before you fling the kids over the fence please!" she yelped clearly a little paranoid. When they stopped Charlie and Oliver were laughing themselves silly and after a few minutes the two of them were off playing in the backyard again. "If you wanna leave Charlie here while you guys go to dinner you're welcome to." Hailey said not knowing they'd talked about Lance watching Charlie before.

Sage slowed down when Max started getting worried, chuckling lightly and setting Charlie down after making sure she wasn't too dizzy. The kids ran off to play and he slid back over to Max and wrapped an arm around her happily. Sage glanced over at Hailey and shrugged. "thanks for the offer, but dad wants to watch her tonight," he told her. "He's been with her a lot recently, while I was gone, and hasn't seen her for a bit so we're letting them catch up again," he noted with a slight chuckle.

"Alright thats fine!" Hailey chirped happily "I just thought i'd offer since she's playin' here." she smiled. After a few hours the three of them left Maxine leaving with a bag of clothes in tow, after Charlie was settled and Max had something to eat she showed Sage the clothes she'd gotten (Which were mostly shirts and stretchy pants...) at the very botom of the bag were the dresses Hailey had given her, one was a black sunflower dress that went to about her knees and the other was a purple bell-sleeved dress that honestly looked like something Max would have picked out herself... "Which do you think I should put on tonight?" she asked curiously.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "Normally I would say yes, but I know he misses her," he hummed lightly. They left after a bit, and he pretended to be interested in all her clothes until she asked him which dress she should wear. He pointed to the purple one and grinned. "You look hot in purple," he chirped. Besides, it looked more her style than sunflowers, he could admit that. Not that she wouldn't look good in sunflowers, but she could kick butt and sunflowers didn't really sport that. Soon enough, Lance stopped by and said hello, and then they went and got dressed and headed out. He didn't take the motorcycle....not while Max was pregnant. But he brought her to a rather fancy restaurant. Not like ...super expensive, but a nicer one in the area.

Hailey understood of course and didn't complain though she did let them know the offer was open if anything changed. Maxine giggled lightly "Even with this watermelon I've got?" she asked gesturing to her belly with a giggle. When her dad arrived she had just finished getting ready when she came out to see Charlie already in her grandfathers arms. She kissed Charlie goodbye and headed out with Sage munching on a little snack she took for herself to satisfy her craving... she knew she'd still be hungry at the resturant. The young women at the front smiled at the two of them "Marie will take you to your table." she assured handing menus to the two of them before another waitress took them to their table, she couldn't resist as she looked over her shoulder "I hope you don't mind me asking when you're due?" she asked curiously "Sometime in October" Max chuckled as they were seated "Well congradulations." the waitress cooed happily "I'll give you a few minutes to look over the menu and i'll come back." Marie assured happily before she headed off. "Sage this is beautiful... and just our style too..." she admitted "Not too fancy but definitely not like a Mcdonalds..." she cooed happily "I love it."

Sage didn't really dress up too much...but he did make sure to comb his hair and put on a nicer top that sort of matches Max's, as much as his darker wardrobe could match her lightly purple dress. He took the menus happily and nodded his thanks to the girl handing them out before making sure Max was settled and then giving her one, sliding into the booth next to her. He grinned over at Max happily and nodded. "I came across this place a few months back and liked it," he chirped. "I knew I'd have to bring you out at some point," he chuckled, opening the menu and scanning it. They were both ready to eat....they just had to figure out what to eat.
