Sage chuckled softly. "Having you. The kids," he explained. If he hadn't found her....well, he could guess at where he'd be at right about then. And it was a scary thought.

"I'm lucky to have found you..." she murmured back, kissing him.

Sage hummed softly in response to her comment, kissing her back happily when she pressed her lips to his. "I suppose we both got lucky this all worked out," he agreed lightly, just smiling up at her.

Celeste smiled and nodded, running her fingers through his hair.

Sage looked back over at the kids playing, a soft smile on his face as he nestled into celeste's touch. His family really did make life worth it all.

Celeste smiled, continuing to run her hand over his hair, scratching his scalp lightly.

Saeg was happy to just lay there, though soon enough the babies were staring to whine again, and he realized it was probably about time to get dinner started. he brought the babies to celeste so they could be fed, and then moved to the kitchen with Liz, letting her help get dinner together.

Celeste willingly took her babies, June and Att reaching for her first, and immediately latching on to feed while Xavier patiently waited his turn.

They didn't have much leftover meat left, so sage had grabbed some old bear meat out of the freezer and was working to cook it up,getting Liz help out on apices and such as he worked.
