Rose wondered about her brother and if he'd really harm her if Caden weren't there to protect her. She sighed as her tears ran dry and she wrapped her arms around her legs, tucking her face in her knees. Her mind, without warning, thought of all the times Caden had told her he loved her. She thought of all the times he'd kissed her and held her. Every night and every day, even when he'd been through hell.

Rose eventually got up and walked with a heavy heart to the hospital room, refusing to look up at Caden's body. She sat, facing the window and wishing she had died with him

Rose reached out to Caden, barely in her reach, and took his cold hand. Her breathing hitched and tears threatened to spill over again

His chest started rising and falling in un-even,ragged breaths.His heart rate quickened to 89 BPM,then 94 BPM,his breaths still labored.Caden's fingers twitched,color returning to his face.
