Sage shrugged. "Well I can't blame them," he chuckled. "I dunno so far neither of Anyas parents are enjoying me thus far. Not that I blame them I haven't given them much to work on," he admitted good humoredly. He laughed and shook his head at Luther's next comment. "She has a personality, that's for sure." If course, it wasn't a negative comment about the girl. He watched the cart head off before nodding and patting Luther's shoulder. "Well then, I'm dragging you off to have some fun because I'm bored and Anya doesn't want me going off on my own because she's afraid I'm gonna fall over somewhere and die or something," he chirped, heading off towards ....we'll, he didn't really know where yet. He was just walking.

Luther only hummed in reply. It was true enough, and the queen had been complaining about the boy while he wasn't about... well, not just when he wasn't there, but complaining all the same. "The queen doesn't like people she has nothing in common with... or people at all if I'm being honest," he snickered slightly, shaking his head a little. He raised a brow as he watched the boy wandering off before giving a slight jog to catch up. "Sounds like Anya..." he murmured before glancing up. "And it also sounds kinda like you to get yourself killed while out on a walk. So, where are we heading?"

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "True. Somehow I haven't quite managed that yet," he joked, though the thoughts running through his head weren't all joking. Then he shrugged again. "I dunno, I'm just kind of walking," he admitted. "I got bored of laying around all day and Anya seems to think I'll end up needing your help." He wrinkled his nose a bit. "I don't mind her caring, but she mothers me a lot. I don't really care, but it's not like this hasn't happened before." He slowed his pace to walk next to Luther and looked at the guy with a slight grin. "She worries too much," he chuckled. It really wasn't a bad thing though, and he kinda did like the mothering from Anya.

The guy shrugged and gave a type of smile. "Anya worries about everyone - it's just that at the moment, you're new and shiny and she wants to look after you. It's like a kid getting a new toy. They'll play with it for a while before getting bored and forgetting about it. She was the same with me for a little while before the novelty wore off," Luther chuckled a little at the thought. The girl was all over him when they first met. Well, for a few months and then they just kind of stopped getting along. She'd done the same thing with a few of the knights on the younger side in the past too. "She'll leave you be soon enough. She'll get bored eventually." He shrugged again as he wandered along. He didn't know what Sage wanted to do... but it wasn't like Luther had anything else in line for the rest of the day, so he was more than happy just to wander around or cause some trouble around the castle.

Sage chuckled. "I probably won't be here that long. At least, if the rebellion dies down. Though I'm not sure that'll happen." He shrugged. "I somehow got myself in charge of helping with training the guards," he huffed. He did want to help, though he'd have his work cut out for him with this one. He could do it, if the guards decided to listen to him and do as he said. More likely, they'd just pick at him until he snapped and murdered one or two or ...multiple. He'd try not to of course, but if he did that at least they'd listen. Not that he had any intention of it going that far.

Luther chuckled a little, "I suppose the queen thought it'd be a good idea. I mean, you did make that little scheduley thing," he murmured before looking along the path they were on, which was leading out into the woodlands. "I guess it also means she has one less person to pay," he chuckled, a slight hint of amusement in his voice.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Story of my life," he grumbled in response to not getting paid, though he really didnt care all that much. He looked down the path they were about to go past and he switched directions to wander along it. Why not take a little walk. "I suppose we can just walk for a bit, I don't have anything I really want to do," he half chuckled.

Luther wrinkled his nose at the boy, raising a brow slightly. "So you're dragging me along to do... nothing? Thanks for that," he mused as he wandered along. They'd probably find something to do along the way, though. In all honesty, the boy was happy to just go for a wander. It was still pretty chilly, but he had nothing better to do... plus, if he refused to come along encase something happened, Anya would probably do some proper ass-kicking. Especially if she was still fawning over the boy... Luther was more than prepared for the whole motherly thing the girl normally did when he'd first heard that the boy would be staying, but he was honestly a bit surprised that it was still going on... no, it wasn't normal.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "yep," he chuckled. "But it's better thank packing clothes and whatnot up." He was fine with wandering around doing really nothing....he'd done plenty that morning after all. He was a bit tired and didn't feel like running around now that he'd crashed a bit. Although, Luther seemed a bit suspicious of their relationship. Maybe he should do a better job seeming like Anya would dispose of him soon.

Luther nodded slightly and rolled his eyes. He was happy to walk around for a little while to keep Sage company. He'd found they'd gotten along quite well, much to his surprise, considering what the queen went on and on about. Before actually meeting the guy, he'd just assumed he'd be one of those nasty tavern folk. Sage was a little more refined than that, though. And although their friendship was pretty much him just getting bullied by Sage for dumb things, it was holding up well. "How're you feeling since your dad? I don't think imagine the likes of you curling up like that rather than fighting back. It was... unsettling to say the least. Does it happen a lot?"
