Sophie watched him turn to the bathroom and ran her a bath. He came back out answering her question. Her breath hitched in her throat as he confirmed he was a demon. It was almost like every fibre of her being turned cold, dark and black at his mere presence. Her wings shuddered slightly, she refrained from freaking out too much since she wasn't sure how he would react. He'd already stated several times that he hated her but what she did find odd was that he was helping her. He could have just left her there to die. To rot in the cluthes of those humans. She had more questions than answers which left no room for fear of the demon that stood towering over her.

He pointed to the dress he said was his sister's. She turned to look at him. She could have sworn she saw something like grief flash in his eyes. But alas, as fleeting as it was, it was gone.

Before she could even have a chance to open her mouth to speak, he upped and left, closing the bedroom door. She wanted to say thank you but found herself alone. She looked at the dress, the blue was that of forget me nots. Kinda ironic but a sadness crept upon on Sophie. She wanted to reach out and touch it but the dirt on her hands reminded her a bath was waiting.

She was sat on the edge of the bed, she pushed herself to stand, bracing her arms outwards to the bed uncase she fell again. She didn't need for that demon to carry her again, let alone escort her to the bathroom, where she would indeed be undressed and washed.

She braced her legs, standing upright, gingerly moving across the carpetted floor towards the bathroom. The door was open, the steam and heat hitting her exposed skin. She entered, turning to lock the door.

She quickly undressed for she wasn't sure how much patience this demon would have. Disguarding her simple white dress on the floor. Edging closer to the bath, she managed to slip in the warm water. The right temperature. She found it very strange that a demon could be so doting.

Alas, she let her wings and muscles soak in the warmth of the water. She found a bar of soap and washed her body, free of the dirt. Next she found the shampoo, jasmine and vanilla scented. She washed her hair.

Once she was clean, she got out, shaking her wings gently, free of the drips of water. She reached for a towel to wrap around herself. Her toes sinking into the cushioned mat on the floor. She let her hair hang over her shoulders, dripping water across the floor.

She opened the bathroom door, the cold making her gasp a little. She was greeted by the blue dress on the bed. She felt her legs carry her forward this time. She stumbled ever so slightly but regained her confidence.

She ran her hand over the dress, the cool cotton, soft and delicate beneath her fingers. She dropped the towel and got dressed. It had been modified to allow for wings.

Once done, she spread her wings, looking around for a mirror. She crossed to it, boldly now. She assessed the damage. Her eyes filled with sadness as she looked at how they severed the ends, clipping her. She would have to wait for the feathers to grow back and she had no idea how long that was going to take.

Sophie heard the impatient knock at the door, she ran her hands down her dress quickly smoothing out the crinkles. She folded her wings neatly and turned on her heel at the demon's impatient words sounding through the wood.

She opened it to find him standing there. All six feet and something of him. Gosh he was tall. His words had faded... muffled by the door. She studies his expression, a soft smile playing on his lips. She felt her skin tingle under his gaze, locked on to her and the dress. He seemed to already be undressing her with his eyes. But his demeanour darkened as quickly as the smile crept upon his lips.

Her brown doe eyes met his as, her hair still damp but slowly forming loose curls that bounced down over her upper back, tucking neatly between her white damaged wings.

Sophie's breath hitched again at the mention of his name. "The Lucifer..." She said barely audible, her gaze widened in shock, she edged backwards ever so slightly as his gaze changed, revealing his dark pupils, the demon side of him. She knew the stories but never would she have thought to be found in his presence. The fear made the hair on her skin rise at the back of her neck.

His hand laced hers before she had time to compute, she had a million questions but she was pulled forward with a light tug towards the door that lead outside. She had no shoes, she realised but they were soon greeted by the fresh pine scent of the forest around them.

The trees seemed to darkened with an eerie presence, like they weren't alone. Sophie shivered, feeling like death had walked all over her, not that it was even possible since she was immortal.

Sophie found herself looking back at the cabin from where they came, she briefly studied it and the location, should she need to find her way back for any reason. She swung her head as Lucifer continued to pull at her now with a certain urgency.

"Where are we going?" She asked, the questions starting to pour out of her. "Why did those humans trap me? Do this to me? Did you want to sell me?" She frowned, her brows knitting together. Her wings tucked in tightly to avoid the trees, she couldn't use them so she figured it would be best to keep them out of harms way encase she needed to run. Again.

Her feet pressing into the damp earth of the forest around them. She felt it alive, between her toes.

Sophie watches him as he stops to face her, answering her questions in a hurried manner. Her breath hitched in her throat, his gaze predatory as he spoke about how beautiful she was. It was frowned upon that angels and demons ever got together like that.

She shivered as he told her what the humans do. "Humans.. do what?" She said softly, a certain sadness creeping over her voice about their malicious nature "But why?" Was all she could seem to utter.

Her feet found the hardness of the road, she felt her feet pinch at the stone and concrete as they walked along it. "Your name?" She said "You're the Lucifer morningstar correct?" She asked "If so, there are stories about you" She said queitly, so not to anger him.

She tilted his head as she watched his demeanour soften at the mention of her looking like someone familiar to him. She studied him further, the grip on remained at her hand.

Sophie looked at the sky when he asked about her being sent here. She said shyly "I had no choice. I was cast out".

A laugh cackled around the two of them and she spotted a demon appear in front. She watched as Lucifer stood in front of her to protect her. She wanted to see who the voice belonged to but she didn't dare move as in her peripheral she noticed other demons starting to creep up on them. She squeaked, inching closer to Lucifer's back, his wings a warm comforting presence now very close to her chest.

She could feel his growl reverbrate through him as he spoke to the demon. She felt the fear creeping back up, willing her legs to work. Lucifer had a boss? Who was it if they sent a demon like this one now in front of them to challenge him.

She felt them argue about her. The demons creeping in on them closer and closer, smiling and taunting, laughing dangerously. She pulled her wings in close.

Her mind raced at the thoughts of what was about to happen next. They were completely surrounded. The only way out was to fly but for how long could they keep running?

It would seem, Sophie had learned that she would have to stay hidden from humans as well as the demons that now stood before them.

She wrapped her arms around herself defensively. The words Lucifer spoke made her feel vulernable. He could just hand her over and be done with it.

Alas, she held her breath, waiting for the scene to unfold before them.

Sophie watched the demons approach menacingly. Lucifer suddenly spun, pulling her close, spread his wings and launched them into the air. She felt the familiar weightless sensation of flying but it did feel strange to her being in someone else's arms whilst flying.

She looked at him, feeling his warm embrace, his strong arms wrapped aroud her, gripping her as if she would fall.

They land in an alleyway, Lucifer's tone urgent. She tried to summon her wings away but she was too weak. She gripped the blanket he threw around her but not before he was yanked back by the demon who had been chasing them.

She watched her eyes wide with fear, the way the demon gripped his wings. She felt helpless but she watched as Lucifer pointed behind her, she looked over her shoulder to see a demon there.

Sophie willed her legs forward in that moment, running, she dropped gripped the blanket to hide her wings as she ran through the town, the hard going under foot making her gasp and wince at ever sharp edge that jutted into her feet.

She eyed behind her the demons flanking her. There was simply no way to out run them with this bulk of a blanket but she did as Lucifer commanded. She ran. Ran for her life. Ran to the edge of the town.

She spun as she got there, faced with a pile of demons, a lot of the grotesque in nature, snarling at her, snapping at her. She felt the weight of the blanket but she realised she wouldn't need this anymore if she was going to be dead. She let it fall to the ground, the dust parting underneath it into a gentle cloud as it hit the floor. Her wings full exposed. She looked up feeling vulnerable. Her first day on Earth had quite literally been hell. She couldn't fly, the dress she wore now ruined, she realised, the claws of a demon had snagged her and ripped it.

They were taunting her, whispers of words "Pretty" "Angel" "Fun". She looked up, backing away, looking around her for any signs of escape.

Once launched forward and the world went dark.

Sophie awoke, she felt her hands and legs bound once more but her wings were free. She didn't know where she was but it was dark and oddly cold.

She tested the restrains at her wrists and ankles. She sighed, leaning backwards feeling something hard supporting her. A wall. The dark room didn't giveway to much on where she could be. She leant into it, the rock jutting in her back and wings. There would be no comfort here.

Her mind raced, wondering what had happened to Lucifer. She wondered if he was dead and she was royally fucked. Trapped in the hands of demons.

That's when a door opened, the light shone through, revealing she was in a decrept dungeon, chains and hooks hung everywhere.

A demon stepped inside and Sophie shrank back at the sight of it. It was a walking horror. She couldn't bare to look.

It stepped towards her now, unlocking the cell door and gripping her arm, pulling her to her feet. It ushered her out of the cell and pulled her out into the light.

She squinted, they walk down what was a seeminly long corridor for no reason and then turned through a door and the room opened up before them. A throne room. She swallowed hard. She knew of the stories once again but never did she think she'd actually be here. Hell.

She briefly closed her eyes and prayed. Prayed for her life but no one answered. She was truly and utterly alone with this thing gripping her arm.

A voice boomed "Soppphiiieee" It knew her name. A guttural growl, tasting every syllable of her name. She swallowed again as she was dragged forward.

She was forced to her knees in front of it. In front of Satan himself.

Sophie's eyes widen as he spoke. She turned her head slightly spotting Lucifer, her wings drooping, having given up already.

She swung her gaze back to Satan as he stood from his throne and crossed down the few stairs. His voice booming, so much it shook her to the very core. He reached up and touched her face, ever so delicately, her breath hitching, before snatching his hand back and turning towards Lucifer to hit him.

The sound of the force he has used revebrated through her. She watched as blood came away from Lucifer's face, splattering the floor of the hall.

She watched the commotion, Lucifer's eyes filled with grief at screaming about his mother and sister. She audibly gasped at Satan's revelation at having his siter killed. She swallowed at wondering what was about to happen to her. The idea of her being his made her shrivel up in fear, she pinned her wings close to her body, trying to make herself as small as possible. She didn't want to be here, couldn't believe this was happening.

She saw Charlie grin saditiscally as if this was what he wanted. Was this a powerplay? She didn't know. Her mind raced on the possibilities, her thoughts turning to why Satan would willing offer up his own daughter to the humans. She felt bile rising in her throat. She was going to be sick. A weird human feeling she had never felt before.

The guards walked over to Lucifer, giving him another swift kick, letting his double over. His gaze found hers, as she too was lifted up by demons. She struggled in their grip, and as they approached the door out of the throne, she tried to kick and screamed, using what was left of her wings to try and shake them off.

They had reached a different room this time, she was shut in a tiny cage, one that was far too small for her. She couldn't stand, her wrists and legs still bound. Her wings had been roped together after the struggle where they had tackled her to the floor.

She could only put her face to her knees. She watched as the demons handled Lucifer. Her eyes wide on what they were going to do to him.

Why would Satan torture his own son? And then she realised it was because of her. She sighed, keeping an eye out on when it could be her turn to be subjected to the cruel torture that awaited.

She swallowed her fear, she also realised that Satan could summon her at any given moment, just on how volatile he had been in the throne room.

She knew she was royally fucked and there was no escape.
