"I know four people named Relha at least. One of them isn't even an elf." Kin said passive aggressively, not trying to start a fight, he was just being competitive. "And not all nouns. Its just names that are. Person, place or thing. Only people and places get capitalized." He said, counting off two fingers for emphasis before continuing to put his things in the bag. "Plus, bow tie or banana wouldn't be any better than mittens or boots." He mumbled incontinently. Rising up again, picking up his saddlebags to leave them conveniently by the door.

Eris glared at him in silence, giving a soft huff. "I don't like it." She huffed, reaching her hand up to gently massage the back of her neck. "Two of three is the majority, yes?" She said flatly, letting her arm fall so she could crack her knuckles. "Technical asshole." She grumbled, making some sort of hand gesture that meant "up your ass", and continued packing up and getting ready to leave.

Kin frowned at her determination to be right, but he decided to stop correcting her. Tipping his head away to grin at her mumblings as he slung his bag back over his shoulder and swept his saddlebags back up. Shuffling in his shoes, he did a once over of the room- shutting the window he'd cracked for the cat and then returned to standing by the door.

Eris straightened and gently slung the strap of her bag over her arm. The movement was tight- an unwelcome stretch- but not entirely painful. She gave Kindred a healthy dose of side eye before she limped her way to the door, opening it and striding out with as much dignity as she could muster. Purple necklace, and all.

The elf kindly gave her a despicable scowl as she strode by, he waited a second and psst'd for the cat as he walked out, leaving the door open. He started walking away, behind him followed the soft padding of tiny paws. He walked over to the front desk. Speaking in common to greet, thank and return the door key while their feline friend squirmed between his legs and then to hers, and followed them right out of the bar. "Do you want to see the market, get a snack, or straight to the stables?" He asked inquisitively.

Eris's arched ears flicked softly at the sound of the coaxing behind her, setting a golden earring gently jangling. She offered the innkeeper a small nod of appreciation, shooting a smile at his wife and walking out after. She considered his question quietly as she stepped into the street, pausing and looking around. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she surveyed the street, and she seemed to see something worth investigating, because she started off toward the market. "The market." She said simply, limping her way across the street her eyes were latched to something within the bustling little shops- or rather, someone.

Kin shuffled out beside her, leaving a few feet between them. A comfortable space between them. His question only stood unanswered for a few beats. He strode behind her and to (whichever side her bad leg is on), halfways looking for those boys, just in case. Shortly turning his attention to see what the fae had noticed.

Eris sent him wary sideways glances every so often as she crossed the street, both thankful and unhappy that he was on her bad side. It meant he was on her vulnerable side- but also that her vulnerable side was more guarded. Stupid leg. She slowed as she got across the street, glancing at fruit stalls and jewelry shacks every few feet. She studied them intently, figuring Kindred would get distracted sometime, if only for a second, and she could find that... someone she had seen.

Kin shifted in and out of passing elves who walked between the pair. He strolled behind the fae, finding where she stopped much less interesting. Despite already having seen most of these shops, he moved ahead of her and left her to her own devices. Kind of. Remaining nearby but giving her space.

Eris weaved subtly between shoppers, keeping her head down slightly, just to be a little less conspicuous. She watched through the corner of her eye as Kindred slid to the forefront of her path, lingering at an exotic fruit stall. Slightly barren, and the little pick there was... it was a bit rotten, due to the famine, but she pretended to peruse anyway. The shopkeeper looked her over with a wary hope. She ignored the gaze and slid back into the small crowd, her eyes locking onto her target almost immediately. The tall, sandy-blonde elf was looking a little more humbled today. His nose was in the process of turning purple, and the swelling made his semi-attractive face rotund in all the wrong places. She slinked quietly into an alley between buildings, moving further in and leaning against one wall, shadows obscuring her figure. With a gentle hand movement, he was drawn into the alleyway with an almost unnoticeable yank. Her shadows coiled around his mouth- his hands, and ankles as well as they marched him in toward her. His green eyes were wild as he wriggled in... fear? She tilted and raised her hand slightly, still unseen by the frightened young man. He levitated, going one... two... then three feet up in the air. A light push, and he got sent back first into a wall, hard. And then came the darkening of his pants. Yep. Definitely scared. Slinking quietly from her little nook, she let her shadows bring him down, dragging him against the wall just slightly before the cord-like lengths brought him to his knees. He looked up at her in that wild way She found a lot of elves did in fear- how she came about knowing that look? Well. She was typically the one who induced it. "If you ever..." She started softly, crouching down onto her good leg. "Touch a hair on another women's head without her approval," She continued slowly, a low, lethal tone of voice as a thick cord of shadow curled around his throat- slithering, almost. Snake-like. "I will find you." The cords slowly tightened. Just enough to be painful. "And I will kill you." She said simply, standing up and dusting off her pants. "It will be slow. It will be excruciating. And I will smile for every second of it as you continually lose your body parts in order of favor." She finished, letting her shadows pull him upward into a forced bow. She watched the tremor work it's way down his body. His eyes stayed glued to her the whole time. She fought a smile at the quaking. "Do you understand?" She asked, her tone simply returning to a light, conversational one. The shadow around his mouth simply faded to nothing. She stared expectantly at him, and he gave a blank look, then blinked, and nodded vehemently. Some slurring of agreement. "Good." She said lightly, turning as if to walk off, and then whipping around to crack her fist across the side of his jaw. He gave a yelp, and the shadow constraints fell away as he got thrown to the side. "It doesn't seem like a fair fight when someone is pinning you down, does it?" She hummed softly, turning a slipping back out of the alley to observe a jewelry cart. (I just thought some psycho would be a nice addition, enjoy Eris's work persona)
