Rose froze, thinking he'd woke before turning her head and seeing he was asleep still. She giggled lightly at his words before turning back to the city as her smile dropped

"Wait,your a biscuit.Im a.........grape.Amazing duo right here." He mutters,still sleeping soundly

Rose ouldn't help but giggle again as she listened to Caden mutter

"What happens when you die?" Caden did'nt answer,staying silent for a moment. "Well,um,you see things from above.Your voice becomes barely a whisper and everyone you love becomes really,really sad." He answered,looking at the little kid sitting beside him. "How do you know?"

Caden awoke,sweating and panting.He sat up and tore off his shirt,tossing it aside before falling back asleep.

"Well you see,I actually was dead.Five minutes and I was dead.It was,scary,to say the least.I did'nt know if i'd come back or not." He answers,sorrow leaking. "Kid,whats your name?" The kid was silent for a minute. "Caden,Caden Ortiz." The kid said,looking at Caden.The kid was way younger,perhaps nine or eight. "Your gonna go places,kid."

Rose jumped as Caden tossed his shirt to the side before looking back out

Caden snapped out of the dream,falling into soothing darkness.

Rose left her spot at the balcony as the sun began to rise. She walked silently downstairs, avoiding Caden and any guilt she might have for being.....well, a bitch. She didn't order anything to eat or drink, just sat there, scrolling on her phone

Caden woke early,following behind Rose silently. "Morning." He sang,brewing coffee.Once it was brewed he took caution,

Caden spit out the coffee because of its temp and coughed

because of the previous morning.He did'nt put Brandy in,instead he put ice until he could drink it.

"Morning" She muttered, not looking up

"You good?Pissed at something?" He asks,leaning on the counter.
