"Me too," Elara said under her breath, shaking the thought and standing. "Im gonna go find something that we can take with us tomrrow, while there's still daylight.Don't overthink it, Sage." With that she turned and walked into the woods, figure blending in after a minute or two.The princess walked and walked, eventually stopping at a point where she couldn't see the fire.Elara sat on a stump and tossed her bow on the ground, head in her hands, mind pounding with doubt. What if he's right? What if we do hit rock bottom? Then what? Can't comeback here, that'd just be worse for poor Liz. Poor kid, never going to have a actual home if we're on the go so often, she might but, that's undetermanble. Eventually she shook off the thoughts and stood, grabbing her bow and shooting a fox before heading back to camp and tossing it to the side, sitting back in her original seat, still saying slient. |

Sage had barely noticed the girls comments, since he was focused on his own thoughts. He wasn't sure how long she was gone, but he was dimly aware of her coming back to the fire after a small amount of time. All the worrying had worn him out, so when he noted that she was staying awake, he felt himself slipping off into sleep. He supposed he'd been woken up while he's been sleeping before, so it wasn't ....unfair. |

"I'll take first watch, you get yourself some rest." She murmered softly, having slept earlier she wasn't tired anymore, just, there.Elara felt bad for him, he couldn't be that much older then her, or younger aswell, maybe a year or two younger or older, maybe older, but still, a kid already?That's something she couldn't handle. |

Sage sort of moved to glance over at her, sighing and nodding after a moment, accepting the fact that he did need to sleep at some point. So, he let himself pass out, resting actually pretty well until he stirred the next morning, opening his eyes to squint up at the sun, which was already rising in the sky. He sat up with a groan, scratching and then moving to get up with a sigh. "We'd best get moving, before people realize you're gone and guards are swarming the town," he noted. |

"Sounds like a plan, I know some tunnels that lead from here into the town.Their abandoned so nobody uses them but they lead straight to the east of town, which we can cut across to the place where Liz is at." She explained, standing and stringing her bow and sheath of arrows over her shoulder, lacing her cloak atop. |

Sage grunted and nodded. "The east tunnels would work," he agreed. He would have probably just waltzed into town, but if she was going to come with, tunnels would be a better idea. He knew them well, so it would be an easy in and out sort of thing. He grabbed his stuff and shrugged his jacket on, wandering off down the trail once they were both ready and the fire had been safely put out. |

She followed, eventually taking the lead and heading into the tunnels before glancing around at a intersection. "Go to south and it pops out at the tavern, east is the woods, west is the courtyard of the castle, and north deposits you a quarter mile from the school..." Elara muttered under her breath, taking the north tunnel. |

Sage crept along, letting her mutter to herself. "I know," he chuckled, sort of shooing her into the tunnel after grabbing a branch to make a quick torch. The tunnel was mostly stone, so nothing was flammable around them, so torches would be helpful. They did need to see where they were going. Neither of them talked much as they walked, though once they got to town he set the torch down near the entrence so they could use it on their way back and slid out onto the streets, heading for the school at an admittedly rather hurried pace. |

"Was reminding myself," She explained, glancing over her shoulder as he chuckled, continuing down the tunnel.Elara was not in the mood for talking and it honestly didn't fit the situation.When he continued with a hurried pace she lengthened her stride and walked as she usually would, not under the watch of guards, etc.Only speeding up a smidge as they arrived. |

Sage didn't waste any time once he reached the school, marching in and grabbing Liz out of her crib. He turned to leave, only to find the women in charge blocking the door. He scowled, not in the mood to argue with them. "We're leaving," he hissed. "Move." They stayed out, each one of them finding a different excuse as to why he couldn't leave with her. When he tried to push past them, he got shoved back roughly, which surprised him a little bit. They hadn't done that before. |
