"Don't start," I sighed, leaning against the countertop. "Things all started off fine, normal relationship, hand in hand, straight out of a magazine. Since back then I was starting to get life right and make all the money I do now, and since I was nineteen, name kind've spread around, our relationship got popular. Fast forward and i'm twenty, things are still going a-okay, nothing's wrong. And yeah, i'll admit, we fucked a time or two then, nothing too wrong with that. Until afterwards she decided that I was just a guy to screw with and nothing else. I caught on eventually that she was still with me for the money and to get screwed, didn't even want me. And after I confronted her about it, she refused to break up, and everything got really toxic. She's the reason I have all those random little scars, we'd fight a lot----and sometimes it was worse than just screaming at eachother. Eventually I packed her things up in bags and left them at the curb, got drunk that night, she was already tipsy when she came back, we got into our last fight and God. . . . I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy." I murmured, shuddering at the memory before pushing it away. "That's why she was texting you all of that, she's still hot about the past, hates my guts for it." |
