Regan sighed and held a hand out to him. "Let me help you," she told him... if the house was alright, she could just get him down onto the bed. He needed to relax... to heal. This was too much for him right now. For both of them. Her side hurt, but he'd been hurt more... she'd actually had time to heal. The cabin looked fine. It did... a bit scorched, but alright. She went in, more than pleased to find the cabin completely fine. She grabbed his arm and lead him to the bed, sitting him down and gently pushing his chest so that he was laying on the bed. "I swear to god, Tyler, you need to rest," she told him with a frown. "Get out of this bed and I'll yell at you," she then huffed at him.

Tyler just... followed. He was too tired to argue, really. He fell backwards in the bed and stared up at the ceiling. "I have to move someday, you know." He muttered... but the fact he was listening was a huge improvement. He sighed, letting his body relax and falling asleep 3.2 seconds later.

Regan rolled her eyes... he'd have to move, she knew that, but she wanted him to at least be better. Not in pain... he'd only get himself more injured if he kept on going like this. "I know... please, just rest though. I want you to be okay," she murmured before sighing and going over to change the dressing on her wound, which had started to seep with blood again due to the movement. She smiled when he settled down to sleep, and started putting something together for him to eat whenever he woke up. She smelled like smoke, so glanced behind her to make sure he was actually asleep before going over to the drawers in the corner and quickly getting changed into something more comfortable.

Tyler twitched slightly, his breathing becoming slightly quicker as he started to wake up. He woke with a cough, sitting bolt upright in bed and letting his eyes fly around before he blinked, sighing. Tyler slowly got up, wincing at the newfound stiffness.... but overjoyed at the minimal pain in the ribs. He looked over for Regan, seeing the food. "Is this for me?" He asked.. slightly cautiously. He was 0.0000001 percent sure Regan would never poison him.. but right now he was on edge.

Regan smiled lightly to him before nodding. "Yep, all for you," she chirped happily before sitting on the side of his bed, lightly running her hand through his hair. She handed him a glass of water after a moment. "I'm a pretty good cook if I do say so... it's nice, I promise," she then added before standing up and flopping down in the chair across from him.

Tyler tipped his head, grabbing the plate of food and peering at it. "I'm sure I never have had anything this nice." He smiled slightly, taking a couple bites. "It's very good, thank you." He commented, also taking the glass of water. He looked at her. "Well I do feel better.. so thank you for forcing me to relax. It did help." He said quietly, looking out the window with a slightly wistful gaze.

Regan nodded gently to him before sighing gently. "Glad you like it," she hummed lightly. She cocked her head at him after a moment or two. "Good... I don't think we should stay here for very long," she murmured quietly. "I mean, we need to move into a town or something... find some more people," she eventually sighed. She then glanced over at him, looking thoughtful. It'd been so long since she'd been with people... it tiring being so alone. "Once I'm better... can I stay with you?" She whispered after a few moments. She didn't want to be alone any more... not at all.

Tyler scrunched up his nose, not liking the prospect of other people. He was sure that he would feel terrible if one of them died... And he would blame it on himself. Tyler looked at her, slightly surprised. Lately Regan had been being.. amazing, all things considered... but she had said herself she didn't want to stay and she DID want to leave... so she had caught him off guard. "Of course you can stay.." he said slowly, wondering if there was right answer at this moment.

Regan watched his features scrunch when she suggested finding other people... she was all for safety in numbers. Being alone... it scared her senseless. She couldn't help her smile, though, when he said she could stay around him, she couldn't help her smile. "I'll try not to talk you to death from now on," she murmured lightly. She was glad, though... she did feel safe with him, even if he was injured. She wanted to help keep him safe, too. "Thank you," she whispered softly.

Tyler chuckled slightly, it quickly turning into a cough. He shook his head, clearing his throat and standing slowly. "I'm going to take a quick walk." He said quietly, tipping his head and exiting the cabin. He paced through the trees, trying to breath shallowly enough he could walk at a good pace. You could tell where he was going... into the burnt part of the forest, straight towards what had been his home. He arrived soon, his heart dropping at what he saw. The old oak tree that had sheltered him for so long was burnt and in ashes, finally tipped over. The surrounding trees were burned to the ground, and the ground was black. He sat down with a sigh, sadness building up in his chest and making it hard to breath.
