Emery laughed along, being gifted a pan of mac and cheese while at it. She heard a familiar voice ordering and checked to see who it was, the two catching eachother's gazes for a moment before Emery--standing like a deer in headlights--turned and walked off, walking into the back to organize something and take her mind off something. The man just about dropped his wallet, apologizing as he glanced back behind the counter, finishing ordering. |

multiple hours passed, Finally. Elias's Breaktime. He heads back into the room and sighs, slumping onto a chair, glacing at emery. |

Emery was sitting in one of the chairs, brows creased together as she stared at her phone, multiple texts coming through and appearing once more. Her thumbs hesitated over the keyboard, clicking onto the contact and blocking it instead. |

She clicked off her ex's contact and tossed her phone on the table, looking up at him. "How'd you know?" Emery mused, placing her hands on his arms. |

"i just know." he smiled, kissing the top of her head before opening a bottle of water. He took a few sips.... Drank the whole think. he tossed it in the trash, returning to emery. |

She reluctantly let him go as she stood, grabbing one as well and taking a few sips of it before setting it down, letting him return to her as she looped her arms around his neck per usual. |
