Andi was asleep for quite a long time before she woke up. She woke up around midnight yawning and stretching her arms. The wind outside seemed violent as rain drops pounded violently on the roof. She got up making herself a glass of water before going back and sitting next to Jasper, suddenly she heard thunder rumbling. Andi froze hoping it was just thunderand nothing else, but to continue her bad luck streak lighting shot across the sky making andi jump. She took a nearby blankey covering herself as if it was a sheild from the lighting

Tyler woke at the loud sound of thunder. He opened his eyes slowly and looked down at Andi... who was covered with a blanket. "Are you okay, Andi?" Tyler asked. He realized she might not like the lightning... he had always loved lightning and thunder. They were wonderful... so much math and science with them, they were just works of art. Drawing lightning was really fun, especially with pencils. Tyler tipped his head and glanced down at Andi and Jasper again

Andi was a bit startled by Tyler speaking sicne she hadn't realized he was awake. She looked over at him "Yes..." She paused for a moment jumping a little at the next flash of lighting "Kind of... I'm just not a huge fan of lighting" She turned her head glancing back out a window waiting for the next strike "I mean it's pretty to watch from afar but I just get all jumpy when it's nearby..." She rambled as if trying to justify that she wasn't a huge scaredy cat, even though was really was when it came to lighting. She held the blanket tight around her as the next strike of lighting crackled

Tyler glanced back down at her. "You do know a lot of people don't like lightning... I'm not going to judge you for it. I personally think it is a work of art." Tyler said slowly. He closed his eyes for a moment before getting up, sinking down on the floor beside Andi and Jasper, letting out a breath of air. "And how you can't get rid of me... getting down was a lot easier than getting up." He chuckled, watching the flashes of lightning through the window. Tyler tried to think of something to say that might calm Andi down.

Andi held in a breathe anticipating the next strike "Good that you aren't, the last person that found out couldn't stop making fun of me for it..." A hint of anger filled her voice but went away quickly as she looked over to see Tyler getting down next to her and Jasper. Jasper shifted over to make sure he had enough room on the floor, which meant he got more onto Andi's lap. She laughed slightly "True but I am so not helping you get up" She teasingly said that, she looked down petting Jasper who was sprawled outa across her legs. She let out a slight gasp not expecting the next ligthing strike

Tyler leaned his head back against the wall with a smile. "Well... I might just stay here for a while then." He answered. Tyler glanced up at the next strike of lighting, and boom of thunder. He tipped his head and tried to think of a way he could make lightning... more interesting and less scary. Tyler turned his gaze around the living room, seeing he was sitting right next to the cabinet. He reached up with his good shoulder, wincing as sharp pain shot through his ribs. Tyler grabbed some extra paper that was in a cubby. He snatched a pencil as well, bringing it back down. After that was done Tyler propped the paper on his leg and started sketching. He drew dark storm clouds swirling across the sky. On one corner he sketched a moon coming out from behind the clouds, shining brightly. He drew a lightning bolt slashing down from the clouds, and where it hit the ground he drew an explosion. That was all in then background. Tyler then sketched a horse, standing there. It was lit up in the light of the blast, relvealing a calm expression and friendly eyes. He filled in the lines and everything, making the horse look lifelike. Tyler then showed the picture to Andi. "Lightning may be.. not the mot fun thing, but it can look really cool in drawings." he told her, his voice low and soothing.

Andi laughed softly returning a smile "Guess you will be then" She looked down at Jasper who had fallen asleep again, he looked so cute and gentle when he was sleeping. She then glanced over at Tyler who was reaching up into a cubby "What are you-" She cut herself short as he pulled out a peice of paper and pencil propping it up on her leg. She tried leaning over to see what he was going to do, but he had himself turned so that she couldn't without getting up and waking Jasper. She sat back patiently waiting to see what it was he was doing that she didn't even notice the lightign that crackled outside. As soon as Tyler showed her the paper, her eyes went wide slightly. She looked over the drawing top to bottom, everything looked shaded in well and was seriously lifelke. She finally spoke "That's amazing Tyler..." She glanced up at him with a slight smile on her face "And you said you couldn't draw" She teased at him before looking back down at the drawing, still not noticing the crackles outside

Tyler smiled. His plan had worked perfectly.. for now. "Thank you... and I can't! It really isn't that good... you can't even tell what breed of horse it is, can you? I don't define its lines well enough." Tyler wrinkled his nose slightly, looking back to the drawing. He wasn't the best at drawing backgrounds, so that was a little off. He wouldn't say it was amazing... but Tyler was very pleased Andi liked it.

Andi chuckled "No it really is good, needs to be in a art musuem honestly" She looked down at the drawing again, to her it really was good but most art she found nice mostly because they were always better than her. She then glanced back at Tyler "I totally can tell what it is..." She looked back down thinking hard, she wasn't the best at horse breeds since she hadn't grown up around them so mostly they all looked the same to her "It's a throughbred obviously" She said this confidently lifter her head up as if locking in her answer, she knew it probably wasn't going to be correct but she didn't care

Tyler tipped his head... then looked surprised. "How did you know?" He asked, looking at the picture again. "You must know your horse breeds well." Tyler chuckled, studying what he drew. He started to sketch another thing, slowly and methodically. Tyler's brows furrowed, and he erased it and started over. Finally Tyler had a human sitting astride the horse. The human's face was backlit by the lightning, so it was in shadows, making it impossible to tell who it was. Though it was obviously female, that's about it. Tyler studied it again, tipping his head slightly
