Well I shall be back after rewriting my blog thingy
Vyrynth
I’m trying to get my stable running again, made some poor financial decisions this RO because I bred some horses without tracked training… did ok, but still not happy about it LOL
Lambda Estates
I have so many freshies to test I’m drowning lol. Thank god I have way too many mares
Willow Wood Stable
Thanks y’all! <3 Definitely going to check these out if my concoction doesn’t murder the little feckers
Lambda Estates
There. Thats better. And yeah, true. Watch them not be a W though lol -HEE Click-
Arctic Dusk
Dr Google suggest making "tea" by soaking mosquito bits and water your plants with that
Embervale Acres
I've heard a hydrogen peroxide drench can deal with the larva in the soil
Vyrynth
Willow, Definitely recommend just getting rid of whatever substrate/ soil you have and cleaning the roots then. May want to check for root rot. Then replace the soil with fresh.
Willow Wood Stable
Vy Thanks. I’m thinking of just repotting everyone if my latest attempt doesn’t eradicate them.
Willow Wood Stable
Nowhere near as severe as an infestation, just really love my algaonemas and philodendrons. I believe they’re dark-winged fungus gnats. More annoying than anything once they grow up, but I’m paranoid the larvae are going to destroy their roots.
Vyrynth
I was told previously that depending on the type of plant and the severity that you’d have to just trash the whole plant. But I’ve also read that super diluted water with soap sprayed on the leaves of the plant can help. But if it’s in the soil, you need to completely replace the soil and clean the roots. I’ve not personally had the issue with any of my monsteras despite a fruit fly issue last year. But know people who have and just had to get rid of everything.
