Sage chuckled and nodded slightly, leaning his head on her shoulder happily. Her hand felt nice, and he could stand to sit there a minute before they went off to find this man. "Maybe we can," he chuckled. He certainly wouldn't mind having some fun. "We can leave after. I'll shower when we get back and then we can have our fun," he promised he girl. After a while though, he knew they had to get going, so he reluctantly pulled away from the girl and patted her on the shoulder lightly. "You ready to get going?"

Claudia giggled, "Hm? Yeah, let's go love.". She stood up, looking around her she smiled when Mr.Lopex came out, "Going somewhere?". "Yes, we have some business to attend to, she shouldn't be very long." Claudia explained, she gestured to their plates which were empty, "The food was delicious, thank you,", Mr.Lopex nodded, "Okay, well I myself have to attend to my workers, see you two around.". And with that Mr.Lopex went back to the kitchen, "Okay let's go.". Claudia gave Sage a small smile, taking his hand in hers.

Sage grinned at the girl and then nodded when she told Mr Lopex what they were doing. He waved to the man and then nodded, squeezing her hand gently. "Let's go," he chirped. "We can start looking around the tavern...he'll be somewhere around," he reasoned. "At least, he can't be too far away if he's still looking for you. And if we can't find him, that means he's gone, which is also fine," he hummed. Then he glanced over at Claudia. "And don't worry too much," he hummed. "This'll be quick and easy," he chirped. He was getting excited at the prospect of having fun, he really was.

Claudia nodded, smiling she walked out of the restaurant, leading Sage along with her. She stopped when she heard a shot...a gunshot. Claudia turned her head slowly to Sage, a worried face on her expression. She jumped when another shot rang through her ears, pulling Sage along with her behind a tree she breathed heavily. "I-I think we found him." He had found them actually...and she couldn't see where he was, Claudia flinched once again when another shot came. She turned, burying her head into Sage's chest, shaking. She shook her head, "S-sage...I'm scared.".

Sage grinned at the girl, and Instinctively pulled her closer to him as soon as he heard the first gunshot. He was more than happy to follow her behind a tree, and nodded when she spoke up. "Yeah", he murmured, and then wrapped his arms around her when she turned to him. Her back was to the tree, and he turned to face her, so that the hunter wouldn't be able to shoot her unless he shot him first. But she needed a moment to calm down. "Hey...you'll be alright. I figured out where he's at...and he's not shooting in your direction anymore. Maybe he saw something else." He hugged her tightly and then tilted her chin to look up at him. "Stay here. I'll be back in a minute. You're safe, I promise," he hummed.

Claudia almost whimpered, "I'll let you go but...Sage,...do me a favor and be careful.". She looked up at him, pecking his nose before backing away. Claudia carefully walked behind another tree, and then gave a small nod to Sage, be careful, she mouthed the words, her expression worried but quickly turned into a small smile. If he didn't keep his promise about not getting hurt...she swore she would tackle him. Claudia chuckled at her own words, looking over at Sage she gave him a nod, telling him he could go.

Sage wanted to stay and comfort the girl, he really did, but she'd be safer if he left. But he knew she was scared and...well, he did feel a bit guilty about leaving her here alone. This was why he hadn't wanted her to come ..though he did appreciate her efforts. Eventually, he sighed and took off again, seeking out the man. He wanted to get this done quickly. He came across the man in only a moment, and was mad enough by then to just lunge at him right away. The man reacted quickly and sent a bullet in his direction, though he dodged it and it only grazed his cheek slightly. He was bleeding, but not much. He tackled the man, who fought back enough to scrape his nails along Sage's chest. It drew some blood, but not much at all, and sage had killed him in only a moment. He ran back to Claudia then, skidding down next to her panting since he had run so fast...he'd been worried about her, more than he could even express, but he relaxed a bit when he saw she was alright.

Claudia quickly stood up at the sound of footsteps, she turned to see Sage. She smiled running up to him, and wrapping her arms around him, she pulled away quickly though, looking him up and down. "Sage, are you alright?" she paused, "Your bleeding, your chest!". She shook her head, it wasn't bleeding that much...but still, "Did...is he gone?". Claudia looked into Sage's eyes, she took a step closer, placing her hand on his cheek and smiling, "He's gone isn't he.". She chuckled, "You really are amazing. I don't know what I would do without you.", Claudia smiled.

Sage chuckled when the girl wrapped her arms around him at first...she was alright. She'd gotten a fright, but she was fine, which was really, really good. He shook his head to reassure her, saying "it's just a scratch," to relax her. It stung a bit, but he was alright. He wondered if she could feel pain or not...did that count as a feeling? Whatever...it didn't hurt that much. He smiled at the girl and pecked her on the forehead lightly. "Why don't we go back home now? Relax a bit," he suggested, taking the girls hand. "He's gone."

"Yes, we can. And when we get there, you are washing up, and then..." Claudia looked away, a mischievous smirk on her face. She took a deep breath and shook her head gently, Sage was fine, everything was fine now...perfectly fine. Claudia started walking, alongside Sage, she giggled, and looking up at him she smiled, "I love you, I really, really love you.". She kissed his cheek and continued walking, sneaking glances over at Sage from time to time. Mr. Lopexes's restaurant appeared in front of them after a short while of walking. Claudia opened the door with her free hand, the other holding Sage's own hand. "Okay, let's go upstairs before Mr.Lopex comes and starts asking questions," Claudia said in a joking tone.
