"Youre gonna let go of me, and I'm going to spin you around. Don't worry, I won't drop you,"

Cam raised a brow at him aftter a second, leaning back a little. She drew in a deep breath. He wasn't going to let her go, but he wanted her to. Okay. Okay, she wanted to do that. He knew what he was doing. She nodded and slowly, slowly let go of him, closing her eyes tight.

Kai smiled. "There you go, you've got it," he cheered her on quietly. He slowly spun her around in his arms so that her back was to his chest. "Alright, expand your wings out slowly,"

Cam kept her eyes closed tight while he shifted her, trying to stay still to make it easier for him. Her heart was still pounding against her chest, and one of her hands held tightly onto his forearm as he held her. She nodded, keeping her eyes shut as she slowly opened her wings up, trying to keep herself level under the weight of them.

Kai lowered her in his arms a little, her wings catching their own wind. "Open your eyes, babe,"

Cam's hands wrapped righter around his arms, and shook her head quickly at his request. She physically couldn't make herself do it. God, what was wrong with her? She couldn't make herself open her eyes. She could feel her wings catching wind, lifting her up just a little bit. She opened one eye slowly, to be met with water so still below her.

"Youre flying, darling," he smiled.

Camery shook her head, still holding onto him tightly. "No I'm not," she whispered quietly, her voice almost a squeak.
| |

"Let go, darling," he murmured gently. "I've got you,"

Cams hands tightened on him, to the point her knuckles were turning white. She didn't want to let go - she felt safe with him. But, his voice was comforting, and she managed to draw up the strength to at least try. She drew in a deep breath, nodding quietly before slowly, slowly releasing her hands from his arms.
