09:23:54 McFossil Sleep now wake up for RO later~ |
09:23:40 Zrek Myth, it called me and I hung up! |
09:23:14 Zrek Cherry, eek. How much does it pay? The people worth it? |
09:22:47 CCR | Cherry | HGS Zrek I would, but I'd been putting in 60 hours at Subway as a regular employee. Even more as a manager. There was never any time to do both |
09:22:04 Zrek This was such a bad decision not bringing water up here. The sugar is burning. |
09:20:55 Zrek Hi Myth :)
Cherry, do both! |
09:20:03 CCR | Cherry | HGS Zrek Ickyy Yeah haha but that GM position at Subway is calling my nameeee. And it's in the same area I'm looking for apartments in |
09:19:02 Zrek Cherry, dang that's pretty good for just dog sitting. Also, tried the Reese's thing, it just tastes like melted warm Reese's, ha. |
09:18:09 CCR | Cherry | HGS 09:17:57 CCR | Cherry | HGS Zrek At this point I think I'm better off just dog sitting. I get at least one $1000 booking a month. I could survive |
09:17:49 Zrek What if I dip this Reese's cup in hot chocolate... |
09:16:46 Zrek Cherry, HA. What an ass. That's why I need to be self employed forever. If I'm late myself picks up the slack and I have natural consequences haha |
09:15:29 CCR | Cherry | HGS Zrek He literally was going off on me about how he doesn't tolerate being late EVER and I was like dude if you want to pay me more than $9 an hour I'd be happy to get a better vehicle. No? Didn't think so |
09:13:51 Zrek Damn Cherry, at least you're ridden of whoever your boss was. Sounds like an illogical person. Either way that sucks and I hope you find something soon. |
09:13:13 The Brindle Princess Zrek, that's exactly how I feel |
09:11:54 Saga I work in HR. Pretty much every company is trying to hire internally/from an already gathered talent pool. We have to post all jobs just as best practice, even when we know who is filling it beforehand.
Makes it objectively challenging for anyone all the way on the outside. |
09:11:51 CCR | Cherry | HGS I lost my job two days ago because my tire fell off and I was 30 minutes late lol. I hate job shopping and I'm so so mad |

Celeste Harlow - Celeste giggled into their kisses. She kept on kissing him for a good while. She thought about their new house, their future family, and their new life together. But along with those insanely happy thoughts, came another sad one. She still had to tell Sage she murdered his past wife, and Liz's biological mom. Celestes face fell, and she pulled away from their kisses and detached herself from him. She took a step away from him, her gaze traveling down to her hands quickly, looking quite guilty. "Sage... I..." she started softly and sadly. "I... I need to tell you something..." she murmured.

Sage was enjoying himself, and he knew Celeste was too. Which was why when she pulled away, he was admittedly rather confused. And honestly, rather worried. Had he done something wrong? He wasn't sure what was going through her head, but his had started blaming every little thing he'd ever done to find a reason for her to suddenly be mad at him. It was stupid, and illogical, but he supposed he just wasn't confident enough in himself. Even so, he swallowed and collected his thoughts as much as he possibly could, so he could tilt his head and ask her "what's wrong," in a soft voice. He did hope she was alright, and nothing was super wrong or anything. Especially since they'd be moving in tomorrow with eachother, and then he'd morph and he out of it for a couple of days.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste kept her eyes down as she continued. "... I know who your wife was... Liz's mom..." she said slowly, really not wanting to tell him, but she knew she had to. What if he was mad with her? What if he never wanted to see her again after he knew what she had done, almost exactly a year ago? She didn't want to exsist without him. If he pushed her away, she'd kill herself. "... I did it... I was assigned her... and I killed her..." she said barely over a whisper, still looking down at her feet, not wanting to see his reaction.

Sage had continued to be rather confused, though when she mentioned she knew Liz's mom, he sort of just gawked at her. "You what," he asked, wondering how in the world she'd met her. It wasn't like Amy had been a nice person, and it didn't seem like Celsete to have put up with her. Her next comment made sense, though, and he sort of just stared at Celste in shock. She'd killed Amy? That was how she knew her? He felt guilty after a moment though, becasue he noticed how awful she felt about it all. "Hey..." he sort of murmured, heasitantly reaching for the girl. "I -it-we never-" he sort of huffed out a breath after a moment, trying to figure out how to word things. It was a particularly sensitive topic, and he didn't like talking about her much. "It's ok, really," he promised Celeste before taking a deeper breath. "It wasn't love," he sort of blurted. "She..." he heasitated for a second, gaze dropping before he forced himself to finish his scentence. "She was a customer," he sort of choked out. "It guess she liked what she got, cause whatever dowry she gave my father was enough for me to ship me off to become her trophy concubine husband," he snorted. "Anyway, that's how Liz came along," he added quietly, face flushing as he recalled things....he really didn't want to recall. "But really, Celeste, it's alright. If anything you did me another favor I can never repay you for," he noted.

Celeste Harlow - Despite his words reassuring her that it was okay, her eyes welled up. She had stuck around after she murdered her that she saw Sage find her body parts littering the forest floor, and the sadness in his eyes. Celeste had killed so many people... so many lives taken by her... how many families had she broken apart? What was even worse was that Celeste had enjoyed the killing. "Its not okay though... I killed her... I've murdered so many people... I'm a monster..." she said, keeping her eyes down as she started to cry slowly. Her kills had always haunted her, but now that she loved the boy she had affected with her murders, it hurt so much more. She'd personally seen the sadness in Sages eyes when he saw his wifes dead body. He told her he never loved Amy, but Celeste knew what she saw.

Sage just watched Celeste as she spoke, mind still whirling. he really wasn't sure what to even say. "Celeste," he sort of murmured, tugging her into a hug once he noticed her start to cry. "It's alright," he murmured. "The only feelings that were there were a warped up sense of affection towards her." He would explain those feelings more later, if she wanted to know more about it, but right now he wanted to comfort his...fiance? Even though he technically hadn't proposed yet? He wasn't sure what to call her. Whatever. He just held, her rocking gently, trying to reassure her. "I don't care," he noted when she said she'd killed people. "I've done it too, plenty of times. There's a reason I lock myself up when I morph," he murmured. "You're not a monster, Celeste. You're an orphan who didn't know anything but the Empress. It's her fault for this, not yours," he added, feeling quite angry about it and now wishing he'd killed the woman while he'd had the chance. In fact, he quite would have liked to go hunt her down this minute, but that wouldn't be the best idea.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste hugged him back, clinging onto him as if, if she let go she would loose him forever. She listened and nodded, still crying slowly into his bare chest. It didn't really matter to her what Sage said about not caring about the fact she had killed people. The thing that she knew is the amount of people she's killed. She had killed at least one person a week for years. Decades. How many families had she destroyed? Although his words did manage to calm her down a bit, and she started to slow her crying even further, breathing uneven, but also calming down. There was another difference between her and Sage. Sage could be stopped by one well aimed bullet. He was very much mortal. Celeste, if Celeste wanted to kill, the only thing that could stop her was someone who was strong enough to pull of her head, break her spine, tear her spinal cord and burn her head. And all of her years of traveling across the world for the empress, she still hadn't found one person who was able.

Sage was ok with just holding the girl, as the way she was feeling made him just feel downright bad for her. He couldn't understand all of it, of course, but he understood the whole killing people part. He wasn't going to pressure her about it, just as he knew she wouldn't pressure him about his own feelings and emotions regarding touchy subjects, unless they had to be spoken about. Like just now. It was clear she'd needed to tell him that. And while he was a bit miffed, and he remembred things he really didn't want to remember...he wasn't upset. Not at her, anyway. "It's all right," he murmured, taking her head in his hands once she'd calmed down a little bit, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "Why don't we go get to bed," he suggested gently. "Get some rest." They had a long day ahead of them....actually, probably quite a few longs days, as once he morphed it would be even longer before thigns would settle downa nd go back to a normal state of being.

( sry its short ) Celeste Harlow - Celeste kept crying for a little bit more until she eventually calmed down. She looked up at her boyfriend as he held her head in his hands and looked down on her gently. Celeste listened and nodded. She knew they both needed to sleep. Tomorrow was gonna be a big day, and then the next few days would be when Sage morphed, so those would be some pretty awful days too.

(its all good lol) Sage smiled gently at her when she agreed to go to their room, and he tugged her along gently over to the ladder before letting her climb out before following and drying off. Once he was done with that he tossed his shirt over his shoulders and picked up the sleeping Liz, wandering back to their room and settling Liz down again, doing his best not to wake her up. Once that was done, he moved to comb his hair out and change into pajamas, which were really just sweatpants and a comfortable tshirt Celeste had gotten whenever she'd gone shopping the last time around. Then, he just moved to slide into bed as he waited for his woman to join him, wrapping his arms around her gently once she cuddled in. It didn't take long for him to pass out after that, not long at all, so he fell asleep pretty quickly. He didn't wake for a while, only squinting his eyes at the sun with a sort of groan the next morning, burying his face into Celeste's chest in an attempt to hide from it.
