Kai smiled and chuckled. "Dr. Malakai Negri," he hummed. "I think I rather like that," he chuckled. "Feeling better about it all?" he asked.

Cam nodded in agreement. "I think it suits you, you know," she chuckled lightly. She then settled herself down, pursing her lips slightly. "A little bit better. Your mother is amazing," she hummed softly. She would have asked her own mother, but she wasn't night kingdom... and, well, she wanted to wait to tell her when she was pregnant. The woman would be thrilled about it.

Kai settled down next to her. He nodded in agreement. "She really is,"

Cam smiled when he came over, and sort of moved to lean on him. She looked thoughtful for a moment, her expression turning into something a little darker than that happy, playful one she normally had. "Malakai, hun, how many of your siblings did you deliever?" She asked quietly. His mother had said it had been... quite a few. It wasn't his fualt they hadn't made it, but his fathers, and she still wasn't sure how he felt about delivering their own baby.

Kai hesitated. He really didn't want to go back to those memories. He closed his eyes, remembering each and every baby he had to deliver over the years. "15," he breathed out.

Camery looked up at him for a moment, nodding slowly. "15," she repeated slowly, then glanced down at the bed. "Are... you sure you want to do another one?" She asked quietly, looking back up at him, really not wanting him to re-live those memories.

He nodded, opening his eyes and looking over at her. "Yes. I know you'll take good care of our little nugget while your pregnant. Everything should be okay,"

Camery furrowed her brows slightly, then nodded. She pecked his cheek and gently reached for his hand. "I will. We will," she glanced back down and settled down next to him again. "But... Kai, if something does go wrong you'll be okay?" She asked slowly.
| |

Kai nodded, "I'll be okay," he replied. "Either way, Alora wants me to deliver her baby too, so I get a trial run,"

Cam raised a brow at him after a second, and sort of just flopped her head back on the headboard. She loved his family - they were so tight knitt. She smiled softly, then squeezed his hand. "You should not be thinking of your little sisters delivery as a trial run," she mused lightly to him after a moment.
