Kai pursed his lips together, another failed attempt at humor. "That was supposed to be a joke..."

Cam pouted at him after a moment, nodding. "And that was supposed to be sarcasm," she mused, leaning in to peck his forehead. She studied him for a moment, a smile still across her cheeks. "Do you even know how strong you are?" She asked softly. "I... probabaly don't even know half of what you've been through, and you're still just so brave about it all," she sort of babbled.

"Oh..." he blushed a bit. He leaned into her, burying himself in her chest, listening as she spoke. It was nice to hear, but he didn't want to go back to those memories.

Cam felt a soft hum escape her when he buried into her chest, and sort of wrapped her arms around him tight. She knew they'd gotten off to a rocky start... but she was glad he felt safe with her. That he trusted her enough to be the one he wanted to curl up with. She pecked the top of his head before smiling softly. "I love you so much, Mr Negri," she chuckled softly.

Kai smiled, "I love you more..."

Cam smiled gently, giving him a little squeeze. "Oh yeah? You love me more, do you?" She chuckled, then shook her head slowly. "No, you really don't," she mused.

Cam pouted at him, and sort of pulled away a little, clearly amused. "No you don't~" she purred playfully, a grin spreading across her face.

Kai grinned up at her "Yes I do~"

Cam gave him a little squeeze, clearly amused by the whole thing. She shook her head, her grin just brightening up a little. "I don't believe you," she giggled playfully.
