Sage slept well, but woke up the next morning with his mind already racing. It was early, and he buried his face in Celeste's chest with a groan, but soon enough for up with a sigh.

Celeste groaned with a whine as his movement woke her.

Sage sort of pecked her head gently. "Go back to sleep," he whispered softly, tucking her hair behind her ear.
| |

Celeste mumbled something incomprehensible before curling back in and falling asleep.

Sage stayed with her until she fell back asleep then moved to get up. He just wasn't going to get back to sleep, no matter how much he'd tried.
| |

Celeste grumbled, waking up just after he left again. The loss of warmth woke her and as her body had no blood, there was no warmth.

Sage had moved to grab a drink and sip at it as he watched out the window, just thinking . They'd get books but...it took them a while last time and it was luck they'd found anything. How would this work out for them?

Celeste dragged herself out of bed and over to him, leaning on his shoulder.

Sage sort of half jumped when she leaned on him, then moved to peck her cheek. "You look like you should have stayed in bed," he noted gently
| |

"Its too cold there," she muttered.
