"I love you too." He says,tensing as she started tracing his chest.

Rose pulled her hand away. "Sorry" She said quietly

"No,it's fine I just,a part fell on me earlier." He says,putting her hand back on his chest.

"Are you okay?" She asked, now concerned

"Rose,please,i'm fine." He protested,shifting his legs.

Rose nodded, continuing to trace shapes

The silence was deafaning,the only sound was their heartbeats,limited to themselves.Caden broke the silence,one cold question escaping.

"Do you think we're dating in every universe?"

"What?" She asked, confused by his question. "Like in an alternate universe? I hope so."

"That always,I don't know,scares me,I guess.Because I do know,in atleast one,i've killed you.Another i've died,and so on." He mutters,pulling her in closer.

"Maybe in one we've never met." She noted quietly
