Spirit slept for a while then got up to go look for some mare to take in for her herd to start

Hunters didn't know what hit them as midnight attacked. They did get the message and stopped hunting the fawn kids. Midnight now can relax as she saw spirit.

Spirit looks around and said " I am loner but ill find someone" slows down to a walk and slowly put his head down to graze

Standing in the shadows midnight watched spirit quietly. He didn't know she was there.

Spirit sigh and thinks he would never have a family soon

Just then a wild whinny comes out of nowhere midnight looked towards the direction it came from and saw a copper bay stallion charging spirit.

Spirit looked up and right at it and turn my ears back what did he think he was doing

The copper bay stud attacked spirit and they got into a huge fight in the end the copper bay stud won and spirit was forced to leave.

Galluping away from the stallion to no where lays down in water letting the blood clean off

The stallion didn't smell or see midnight as he continued off. He had established territory. Midnight stalked spirit.
