Tyler nodded at her, saying, "Your welcome" before laying his head back down and falling asleep with the dog atop him. (Can we skip to morning?)

(Yep! If you feel the need to skip just do so :)) Regan slept most of the way through the night, mainly because she was exhausted, and this new wound was a little bit... draining. The smaller dog was wrapped around her, so she was comfortable, anyway. Still, she woke up early in the morning, much the way she normally did... pain ran through her side, but not nearly as bad as when it'd happened the day before. She was also a bit worried about the boy she'd met - he was outside, in the freezing cold... and it wasn't safe out there. As nervous of him as she was, she didn't exactly want anything bad happening to him because he'd been so good to her, despite how grumpy she'd been.

Tyler woke with a groan. He was stiff from sleeping on the ice cold, steel hard ground. He immediately looked around, wary. Raptor stood over a dead dog, panting happily. The dog had foam around the mouth and it's eye sight looked crazy. Tyler jumped up, yelling a warning call. He backed up, not wanting to Ben anywhere near the thing. "Good dog Raptor... good dog." He panted, terrified of what would have happened if he didn't have his dog... or I felt this dog bit his dog. The rabies infected dog must have gotten in through the trap he forgot to reset... Tyler shuddered at the thought

Regan jumped at the yell of warning, then winced and cursed herself after a couple of moments when feeling shot straight into her side again. She sighed and rubbed her eyes before slowly and steadily crawling out of the little hole. The cold air hit her like a bus, and she immediately regretted leaving her spot. Though, when she peered out and saw a very dead dog at the bottom of the other dog's feet, her heart jumped with fear before looking the boy over quickly. "Shit," she cursed under her breath before frowning. "Are you alright?" She called over, a slightly curious look across her face.

Tyler blinked and looked over to where he heard a string of curses flowing from the tree. "I'm fine." He murmured as the girl emerged, shivering. He looks at the dead dog, then at Raptor, then at the dead dog again. "How did you even manage that?" Tyler rolled his eyes at Raptor. Raptor just wagged his tail and smiled, his tongue lolling out of his mouth. Tyler, being careful not to touch the animals saliva, dragged the dog outside his camp where it would sit and become part of the earth soon. "How was your night?" He asked, the slightest hint of a smile on his face as he looked at Raptor again.

Regan watched the boy and his dog for a moment or two before shrugging. "You look cold," she observed quietly. After a couple of moments, Millie ran out of the little hut, her ears perked forwards and her tail swinging from left to right, as if she was expecting Regan to go and play with her. The girl just gave a sorry look and shook her head before looking back to the boy. "It was alright," she shrugged before offering a bit of a smile. "I was cozy... it was nice," she then added lightly before cocking her head. "Though, you do understand how stupid you have to be to let some stranger stay in your camp, yes?" She mused to the boy.

Tyler rolled his shoulders. "I'll warm up." He grunted. "And yes, I do know how stupid I have to be to let a stranger stay in my camp for the night. Then again, I couldn't just send you on your way. You were injured and wouldn't have gotten 100 yards without something smelling the blood and attacking." He smiled a little, patting Raptor on the head and walking to the fire, which was still smoldering. He built it back up so it was toasty warm, then stretched and yawned, his back cracking.

The girl just cocked her head at him, still a little amused as to why he thought letting her say would be smart. It wasn't... if she wasn't injured she would have very easily gotten him back, and she wouldn't have thought twice about it. "I don't understand how people like you are still alive, you know. Seems like most of them are already dead," she added with a dull chuckle before curling buck up in her blankets, although Millie had other ideas, happily wagging her tail outside the tree shelter. The girl then cocked her head at him. "What was your name again?" She asked with furrowed brows. She couldn't stay here... but if she could mooch off him until she wasn't in agony, that would be useful.

Tyler flinched slightly at her first comment. 'Most people like you are already dead.' She had said. He just felt bad... and knew she wouldn't make I think very far like that. He grunted. "I said my name was Aaron." He lied, averting his gaze and stalking to go set the trap again. Raptor followed him, growling at Millie and Regan.

Regan gave a short whistle when she heard a growl and the smaller dog came shooting back over to her, instantly flopping down next to her handler and resting her head on her side. "Aaron?" she hummed thoughtfully. "Thank you for looking after me, then, Aaron. You're too kind." She chirped happily as she watched him stalk off, a slight smirk across her face when she saw his slight deflation. Her companion whined at her and pawed her side as if she knew the girl was being horrible. "What?" Regan asked the dog, who just put her ears back at the girl and whined once more.
